Menopause natural remedies and help with hot flashes and night sweats.
I have only had my peroid once in the past year. Is this due to a hormonal imbalance (i have also gained 10-12 lbs and changed nothing about my diet…i have acutally been on a diet plan trying to loose weight…b/c i gained it). I am going to the dr. next week. Any suggestions about what I should get tested? I was thinking my thyroid? all hormones, and a test of PCOS.
My bf has terrible night sweats. He will wake up totally drenched and the bed will be completly wet on his side. What causes this? We turn the heater down to 65 when we go to bed and I never sweat like that. Sometimes we even have to change the sheets in the middle of the night. Any idea what is causing this?
Ok, I started using natural progesterone cream a month ago to start supplementing my low hormonal levels (had 2 m/c in 2006 from that). Okay, and I also heard that baby aspirin for blood clotting is important too. One girl that works with me is doing both (had same condition) and is 16 weeks pregg. She had 1 m/c at 11 wks and another at 8wks. Anybody knows someone who did the cream and the baby aspirin????? Thanx.
The doctor has prescribed vitamins. I was wondering if anyone else knew of a good website to get info or has anyone else dealt with this. I would prefer to treat this as naturally as possible.

I have an immense amount of vaginal discharge for a week out of nowhere this is why I am asking…I have to wear pantiliners and I was really dry before ( needed lube always and lots )
I could really use some help.I feel like Im going crazy Im 28 but my body is doing some scary stuff.I get Random pain/weakness/muscle spasms in my legs and feet and up into my arms,back and rear.Not all at the same time and it only lasts a few minutes but occurs several times per day.I went to the ER this past sunday they did xrays,ct scan of my head, bloodwork , and urine and everything came back to show Im perfectly healthy.This is what makes me think this is hormonal because I am also having breast pain on and off and weird tingling from my ovary areas shooting down my leg.Have you or someone you have known experienced this?Thank you in advance for any info.
I believe I am going thru peri-menopause, witch is bad enough, but over the last few weeks I’ve noticed that I don’t get hunger pains anymore, instead I feel like my blood sugar drops and I feel weak, food used to help, but lately, all it does is make the nasea worse for a short time, and then I get VERY tired.I’m only 36, I’ve had 5 pregnancies(2 miscarriages-3 healthy kids) I’ve had minor sleep disorder issues all my life, I’ve always been a bad eater, sometimes too much, sometimes not enough, I’ve worked graveyard shifts most of my life, (to avoid not working, and/or daycare costs)I don’t exercise enough, witch I am working on, because I just finished moveing from one state to another, I’ve had a stressfull life in general, but I have preety good copeing skills, and my life is the most stres free it’s ever been.I have not had insurance, or even seen a doctor in almost 10 years, (part of the reason I moved)I just wonder if the nasea thing is normal, or is there a way to reverse it?
I know it sounds funny, but it is in fact causing him quite a lot of misery. It feels to him as if some heat regulating mechanism isn’t working properly. He has to leave warm rooms and has to direct cold air onto them when driving. If he were a woman, and given his age, I would say hot flushes and menopause. Do men go through any mid life hormonal changes? Any suggestions about how he can calm them down would be gratefully received.

I know that taking Provera will cause you to have a withdrawl bleed similar to a period and I know its given to women who are having trouble restarting their period after birth control.
My question is, does it do anything for your cycle besides cause a bleed? Does it signal the rest of your cycle to get into gear?
