I am taking Trisequens and St. Johns Wort and I would like to know if this is OK.

I’m on Yaz strictly for PMDD, began taking it last October. Normally my period comes around Fri/Sat/Sun, when I begin a new pill pack on Sundays.
My period never came when it was due. I’m technically 8 days late. No, there is no chance of pregnancy, since I had the Essure procedure done back in 12/04.
I’ve been having menstrual type cramping for a few days now, sometimes rather severely. However, there hasn’t been any bleeding at all. I do have a hx of fibroids and polyps, and I do know that there is a small fibroid currently. I also have ovarian cysts, and have been feeling pains in my left ovary almost consistently.
I had an ablation done in 12/04, it lightened up my periods. Taking Yaz made the periods even lighter. I’ll be 40 in Jan. Should I just chalk this up to possibly a perimenopause thing? I had symptoms of peri when I was 36, nothing too severe, mainly hot flashes.
Is this a reason to call my gyn, or do I just wait it out, see what happens next month?
Thanks. Oh… remember, I did say Yaz, not Yasmine. They are two different pills. However, your advice was good. I had actually left a message about this with my doc’s office last Wed, but nobody ever returned my call, and I’m considering switching to a new gyn, due to the fact that, back in May, I made a visit to the ER due to a ruptured ovarian cyst. I was told to follow up with the gyn, but was only seen by her after 5-6 phone calls to the office, leaving endless messages, in a period of 3 weeks. FRUSTRATION.
Yes, I’m rambling, sorry about that. I do that when I didn’t get enough coffee.

I’ve had my hormones checked and my doctor says I’m normal!! I am producing estrogen so even if I’m 50, menopause can’t be the reason for my Hot Flashes and unbearable Nights sweats. I’m soaking though my PJ’s…….any idea’s….PLEASE

Please help I feel like I’m losing my mind I am 37 years old and have been having hot flashes, extreme anxiety, awful temper every little thing will set me into a rampage and I dont know what is wrong with me could I be going through perimenopause I dont have insurance so I cant go to the dr so please dont tell me to go that will set me off to. I only had one shot. It’s been 3 months and I’ve hated every minute of it.
We’re going to get off of the hormones for a while so I can lose all the related weight.
How long will one shot take to completely clear out?

I’m 21 years old. My menstrual cycle has never been regular since I was 12 years old. My periods would last for months at a time. I was on my period for months before I went to the GYN about it. She said it was a hormonal imbalance and prescribed birth control pills. That was fine for about 3 months. Then my periods just stopped altogether. I stopped taking them in October and still haven’t had a period. I decided I didn’t want to use BC as a solution because I want to start trying for a baby in the next few years and I don’t see it as a very effective long term solution. I wanted to go a more natural route with diet, exercise, etc. I’ve searched high and low on the internet. Everything I’ve found about hormonal imbalance is pertaining to menopause. I’m not in menopause by any means. Does anyone know of any site or book or anything that’s a good one for this subject?
I did tell the doctor that I didn’t want any form of birth control because I was going to start trying to conceive with my husband in the next few years. I went in there for regulation. She told me she’d just prescribe me BC pills for right then because she felt I was having a hormone imbalance and she’d deal with the problem of conceiving with me when I actually decided to start trying. I just feel that I was prescribed BC pills because it was the easiest thing to do without looking at other options.

My initial questions: Does progesterone delay ovulation? My doctor is dating my pregnancy back a week from where it should be. I had US at 6 weeks. He said I was 5 Weeks. Of course at 5 weeks seeing nothing besides a sac is typical. But not so much at 6 weeks.
I had my HCG drawn and the results came back 2942 and 47 hours later it was 5482 which is an 86% increase with a 52 hour doubling time. Doc said this is right on track for 5 weeks.
I guess my concern is I have 2 miscarriages behind me. One was a blighted ovum, and seeing nothing when every internet site in the world says I am 6 weeks kinda freaked me out.
Any Advice or input would be greatly appreciated!

My doctor put me on progesterone for PCOS. Within a week I had my first period in 3 months.
In that next cycle I concieved. Everything I have read on the internet says you cannot take progesterone cream during the first part of your cycle as you cannot get pregnant.

I am on my first round of clomid taken between days 5-9. Had a progesterone level drawn on day #24 and it came back as 20.7. My MD is on vacation. What does this mean. My periods have been irregular the past 3 months so I’m not sure when I am due could this level indicate anything about pregnancy?
