She put you on HRT just because your ovaries are sluggish? Did a test result show that? The "replacement" in HRT is to do just that, replace what your body is not making properly. If that is what this med is doing, then your hormone levels should be at normal and should not have side effects like weight gain. I hope that your Dr. is monitoring your hormone levels to make sure they stay within normal levels on this medication.
