Sexuality is hardwired in the brain during fetal development. Research is showing that this happens based on hormone levels at certain critical times before birth.
Over the last century, many things have been tried to "cure" homosexuality, including hormones and vitamins. Finally, the medical and mental health communities realized that homosexuality is not a disease or mental illness. It is a naturally occurring variant of humans.
