i keep getting extreamly hot suddenly, i feel really hot and start to sweat i also feel quite sick , could it be caused by stress ? i have searched online and the only results seem to be a symtom of the menipause , but im only 20 so it cant be that. and i also know i am not pregnant.
please help thanks

I’ve been getting what some people say are probably partial seizures since the age of 16: basically, my arms, and often legs move uncontrollably, this lasts less than a minute, however, I can get one after another. I also have excessive sweating, excessive thirst (been tested for diabetes, don’t have it), headaches, hot flushes (I’m a 28 year old male), which can last for a few minutes or all day despite cold weather, memory loss. I was born with a lump on my head which was thought to be either CNS (Central Nervous System) heterotopia or part of a residual encephalocele. This lump was removed aged 10, however almost 18 years later it seems to be coming back: the site where it was is often raised and is always tender, a duvet cover or just touching the hair around it can hurt. The pain has been so bad that it has woke me up on occasions. I have had MRI scans in the past, but these have shown up nothing. I have on appointment for an MRI scan in a few days, however as I said they never show up anything and the hospital (I’m in the UK, we have the NHS) won’t give me any other type of brain scan, so I’m doubtful anything will show up with this. Doies anyone have any idea what is causing these symptoms?

I have been having hot flushes for about 3-4 weeks, irregularly through the day and night, can’t seem to sleep, extremely moody, and my period is about 2 weeks late. I’ve done 2 digital hpt’s and they were negative. But then a couple of minutes before after a flush I can be freezing! I’ve also been feeling nauseous and light headed for a few weeks too. I done an online early menopause checklist and I have 12 of the 14 symptoms but I’m only 30.
Could it be menopause or something else? Please help!

Lately I’ve been getting what people tell me are hot flushes. I started to notice it during the hot weather in East Anglia several weeks ago. I felt like my body was suddenly losing its ability to regulate its temperature. I thought it was just because of the heat and ignored it, but people are telling me it’s not normal, and today I had two or three more even though it’s cooled off. I’ve read that hot flushes in teenagers are normal in moments of anxiety, panic, anger or embarrassment, but I wasn’t experiencing those emotions at the time, although I was feeling very sad.

My periods are regular and I’m due for my next one in two weeks. I’m only 17, so I think an early menopause is quite unlikely.

What could be causing these? Are they dangerous? Should I speak to my doctor?

i am on hrt have been for a few years niw and on clonidine for atop up it was working perfectly no hot flushes can anyone tell me why they are back when im still taking the medication

I’m only 15, but occasionally i have realllyyy hot flushes on my face, moslty the cheek area -no parts of my body go hot jsut my cheeks, what could this be?
it’s not when i membarressed i don’t blush i never blush itsd like an awful awful hot flsh that affects how my cheeks feel - they get hot!

I went to the doctors the other day for something else and she did some swabs and said my cervix was swollen

ive been feeling sick,had stomache cramps and hot flushes. i thought i was pregnant but if i was i’d only be 2 weeks 4 days gone? surely symptoms cant come this early. what else could it be?
