Every time I take ibuprofen(for knee inflammation) as little as 200 mg , I have night sweats and become agitated.
Is there a reason for this happening?
Ever since having our 2nd baby nearly a month ago, I’ve been having these night sweats that leave me drenched and then I get chilled–not comfortable at all! One night I sweat so much, my newborn son who was sleeping next to me was damp on one side of his sleeper outfit! I’m sure it’s probably related to hormones but is there anything I can do to minimize the sweating or make myself more comfortable at night till this passes? Have any of you ever experienced this too?? Thanks for any help! ![]()
For quite some time now my husbands has had night sweats. (the last few years) Lately (last couple of weeks) its been happening every night and i’m talking drenched with sweat. He’s not having nightmares and it’s not too hot. He’s not sick and there is no other symptoms other than he talks in his sleep a lot but i’m not sure if that means anything because he’s been doing that since he was little.
What do you think could be the cause?
He is also a smoker….just started in late 2007.
I am seeing my doctor on Thursday but I wanted some opinions…I have anxiety and OCD and take Zoloft 150mg, but lately I have been experiencing some symptoms that are not anxiety. I have diarrhea, night sweats, tiredness, headaches, increased appetite, dizziness and blurry vision. Has anyone ever experienced any of these symptoms and can give me some opinions Thanks!
My husband is super sweaty lately. Especially at night.
Is it? I have them at times when I nap during the day. About 3-5 times a month. Is it normal?
My wife and I have just had our first baby boy. Ever since we brought him home I’ve been getting up at night to help my wife with diaper changes and so on. Whenever I get up I have a few sweat spots on my shirt and boxers the size of footballs. What could this mean?
I had my baby girl 8 months ago, and I didn’t get night sweats immediately (which i have read is a normal way of getting rid of the excess water from pregnancy). Mine started a couple of months later. I wake up drenched in sweat a couple of times a week. This is still happening now at 8 months. Has this happened to anybody else? At first i suspected it was hormonal as i’m still breastfeeding several times a day, but i can’t find any information on it.
I am a female, age 21, and have been experiencing night sweats for the past six months. My house is normally kept pretty cold, and I have been wearing lighter PJs to bed, but I’m still experiencing the sweating. It actually wakes me up at night. Recently I have started to become dehydrated when sleeping. I’ve ruled out the sweating due to hot temperatures, since I’m usually cold, and I haven’t had a change to any hormone related medication since the beginning of this. What could it be?
I researched and it looks like I’m too young for menopause. I am on the birth control pill, as well as Pristiq for anxiety. I’ve always had PCOS, but these night sweats began within the last year – I also began the Pristiq this past year but I cannot recall if the timing coincides – anyone out there having the same issue and on Pristiq or any other ideas of what it could be (my thyroid is fine). Thanks!
Ihave been taking Citalopram for 6 months and have experienced terrible night sweats i met someone else today going through the same problems we are both going through the menopause but its much more than night flushes
Im a little bit worried about my partner, he has been suffering extreme night sweats to the point where the bed is drenched and i have to change it daily. He is a little overweight but not extremely, i’m just particularly worried as this has only started occurring on a continuous basis for the past few months. The room temperature is not too hot, either.
