Perimenopause

so I am a 16 year old girl been on levoxyl for about 6 months for hypothyroidism due to radioactive iodine previously hyperthyroid. Anyways, every since I started taking the medicine I have a terrible time falling asleep due to racing thoughts and terrible anxiety. I had my levels checked a few weeks ago that indicated that I was slightly hypo TSH 5.7. I know its not due to hyperthyroidism, so is it better if you take it in the morning?

I have symtoms of hypothyroidism. I had the left lobe of my thyroid removed, because I had a goiter.
I have fatigue, thinning eyebrow, heat and cold intolerance, slow heartbeat, low body temperature, extreme body aches, mental fog and the list goes on. My lab results always are insignificant to my doctor. I am so tired.

Me and my parter just moved to Cape Coral from Tampa and we are having trouble finding a new therapist and doctor in order to get his testosterone treatment. We can’t afford to go to far out of the way to get it due to the cost of the treatment and gas in general.
For those of you who are going thru the treatment as well you understand how important this is and why he needs this so badly.

Who ever can best assist us with this problem will be rewarded

I have some Golden Privet shrubs threatening to take over. Thought I’d see if I can get some new ones to grow from the stem cuttings.

The propagation sites I’ve looked at all recommend using rooting hormone, but I don’t have any and don’t have a nursery or home improvement store nearby. And is it really even necessary?

I’ve read that honey can be used instead. Will it work or should I not bother with it?

Thank you.

Hormone replacement ?

I have told my doctor all my symptoms and he did blood work, It came back with high Cholesterol. he did not prescribe me anything, I Also went because I feel tired all the time, all I want to do is sleep, no motivation, no vitality, no interest for sex, pretty much the symptoms of Low testosterone or Hypothyroidism. I am a 27 year old male, My sister suffers form Hypothyroidism so there is a history in the family. Now I have been dealing with Clinical depression for a couple of years now, it just comes to me, for no reason at all, I do not feel depress now, but I want to be the old me, full of energy. I am only 27 and I don’t want to live the rest of my life like this. Does anyone know a good doctor, that treat me that specializes in hormones in the Chicago area.

I suspect I have Hypothyroidism, because when I take any supplements with Tyrosine in it, my fatigue is gone and I feel better . Does anyone know if they use Tyrosine to make Thyroid Hormone replacement drugs?

My daughter is 22 and is losing her hair. We think it has to do with turners and hormones. Her thyroid is fine, with medication. I would really like to chat with an adult turner syndrome women.

I eat no more than i ever did. All the weight is in my stomache area. Even with exercise i cant seem to get rid of it. Any ideas on herbs or even diet pills that really work?

very unsusal for my period to be this early. in 33 years my period has always been on a 28 day cycle. feeling nauseous at the smell and taste of certain foods craving others especially carbs and sweets, burping more than i can recall. breast slightly sore and tender to touch. last period 2 days pale pink, 2 days light red in colour and flow 1 day light brown when wiping, then nothing. periods always 7 days long medium to heavy flow. ttc conceive but also now are aware this could be perimenopause. none of the women on either side of family peri/menopause before 50, so partner and i really are hoping that the baby mambo is working. we each have children of our own from previous relationships and would really want children together. please continue to sprinkle Baby Dust our way as we continue our dance . please refer to previous post today ‘i’m 44 and trying to conceive….thnx for the help. peace and blessing to all ttc.

It is not like feeling hot when you sweat, it is jus the skin and it looks flushed. It is not anxiety. What could it be?

I have noticed that the past few months my periods are a little bit irregular as they sometimes start a few days earlier than anticipated, they are lighter, and last shorter than what I usually have. I also have been noticing more irritable moods and some brief blurry vision from out of nowhere. I’m wondering if I’m starting the transition into menopause…I’m 41 in case you’re wondering.

Peri-Menopause I have a question:?

I have read somewhat about this stage..trying to figure, though, lately, occasionally Tears flowing for no reall large reason…I mean, I am a bit emotional anyway but I am aware of that and have general grip…Lately, aside from a few perimenopause possible symptoms, I think the tears thing is abnormal…SO ,question is, can that be a side effect? Getting real sad/tears/ on small things….?

Am I going through Perimenopause?

For the past 5 months I have been having hot flashes, horrible mood swings (going from happy to frustrated or sad, sometimes I cry for no reason), my periods are much lighter and are coming farther apart, I have trouble sleeping at night, have almost no interest in sex ( I am in a relationship) and have dryness (down there), I am also tired all the time…the problem is I am only 21! Premature menopause runs in the family but never this early…HELP?!

Is there a name for this occurrence?

In the past few months, I have been hearing people telling me things about hormonal changes that can affect a household of women from mother to daughters; whereby the mother goes through certain hormonal changes like premenstrual syndrome and/or perimenopause, and it has an effect on the daughters as well. (e.g the daughters begin having the same patterns in their menstrual cycle, same symptoms before/after menstrual cycle.)

Is there a scientific name for this?

I have read articles concerning this and how this also happens to animals, but it was too long ago.

Thank you in advance for your answers.
