See a doctor. It may be a medical condition that can be treated.
I know how he feels…Tell you what. If he is a good man that rubs your feet, does his own laundry, pays the bills, does the dishes, fixes the cars etc then I would say if you love him sex is a very small sacrifice. I do all these things for my wife plus I’ve read many books about being more romantic etc…I make an effort to no avail… I feel like him "Needed, but Not Wanted."
It doesn’t sound normal. Stress, depression, hormones, or underlying health issue could be causing the problem.
Tell your husband you realize there is a problem and you are going to seek medical attention to resolve it. Let him know he is important to you and that you want to have a healthy sex life with him. While you are seeking medical advice, remember to meet his sexual needs as best you can whether you are in the mood or not. Don’t do it to be fake or manipulative. Do it because he needs it and you care for him.
ahhh Talk to your OB. Your marraige depends on it….first step is to realize it is abnormal and possibly rectifiable. The fact that trying should help your husband… Not ever having sex can make a man feel…well not like a man.
