I’m 57 & have gone through menopause, stopped bleeding 2 yrs ago, today spotting blood and symptoms of period.
I have all the symptoms of a menstrual period, but I have gone through menopause and have not had a period for almost two years, spotting blood, too. Is this normal? I have understood that after one year of no periods, I’m done. I do not have medical insurance and I’m a little concerned. Can someone give me a medical answer?

hi
i have sent you a link on the menopause to read, if you spot after 12months with no periods you should seek medical advice from a gp.

I understand that you do not have medical insurance, but try contacting the public health clinic in your county…they usually have affordable clincs you can see and go talk to a gynecologist.
