As I was reading your question it felt like I could have wrote it…that’s exactly what my hubby and I are going through too. I had a period the first part of Sept. and then again in Jan. …havn’t had one since. We are TTC also…makes it hard when you aren’t Ovulating. I also was charting my BBT…but when you aren’t Ovulating it’s so irratic you can’t make any sence of it…I finally went to see the Doctor last week and he put me on Provera to induce my period…hopeing that will jump start my body into Ovulating. I am takeing my last pill today so I hope it works. I also just started a herbal supplement called Vitex that is supposed to regulate your periods and help you Ovulate…I did lots of research and it sounds really great…but do your own research and see what you think…you can get it online pretty cheap. I also am takeing a B-6 supplement every day, it’s suppesd to help. I hope that helps…I understand what yor going through believe me!! Best of Luck to you…God Bless!
Unfortunatly I don’t think Mommy2be’s Online Ovulation Calculater will work fo you, since you are having irregular periods…those only work when you have a regular 28 day cycle or what ever.
Try this ovulation calendar. I used it and have recommended it to many others and have gotten pretty good feedback.

When you have sex, do so on your back. Remain on your back after rocking gently from side to side for about 20 minutes. It will help the sperm stay inside and coax it into the cervix instead of allowing it to pool behind the cervix. Good Luck Sweetie!
I’m in the same boat as you are – and have been ever since getting off of bc a year and a half ago.
You might try asking your doctor to do an internal ultrasound to double-check the cysts. My doctor used to think it was cysts, but after my ultrasound proved that false, we found out that it’s because my hormones aren’t kicking in and making me ovulate correctly – which explains why I can’t ever figure out when I O. I have an appointment coming up to try to correct that with meds.
Keep asking your doctor to explore more options/solutions, or refer you to someone who can. Good luck!
