Is it a bad idea to use progesterone cream without doctor supervision?
I am in the process of transitioning to a new OB/GYN and can’t get in during this cycle…my old doctor gave me my second round of Clomid, but I feel I am not going to get pregnant due to a low level of progesterone. The doctor has never actually told me that I have low progesterone, but then I don’t think he ever tested me for it.
Should I wait to be seen and tested by my new doctor, or should I use the cream from the drug store and follow the label directions?

I wouldn’t use it without talking to your doctor first. If your levels are low over the counter supplements may not be enough. Also progesterone supplements can make you miss your period and alter your cycles. I would ask your doctor first. You may not even need it. Best wishes!!!
If you have a diagnosed low progesterone level nothing over the counter is going to be sufficient for you. Also, I wouldn’t recommend self-medicating. Clomid does help with progesterone by giving you a stronger O, so that would help you a lot better than anything OTC.
Good luck.
You Should Talk to your Doctor First… It could Damage your Pregnacny chances. Plus. The Pharmacy Won’t give it to you Unless you have a prescription.
