My son will be two next month. Recently he has begun to have horrible night sweats. Sometimes I’ll go to check on him and he be drenched like he had just had a shower. Do I need to get him checked?

I don’t know the answer to that, but my son is the same way (he just turned 2). I’m having to wash his pillow constantly because he is always soaking it.
I would say you probably don’t need to take him in for it, but ask about it when you go in for his 2 year check up.
my daughter is 15 months and has sweated bad at night from very early on
You can call your doctor for sure but I just wanted to let you know my son (3) sleeps like that sometimes. Drenched, quite literally. I don’t even know how it’s possible and to be honest it can be a little scary but he’s always seemed well and been fine after the fact. Keep your son hydrated though OK?!?
Also, does his blanket "breathe". My daughters blanket sleeps so hot…I have never seen anything like it. So check that out too.
