But I would seriously recommend getting off of it. I had my first shot at the end of January and it's done nothing but cause me problems. I've had my period (light) the whole entire time. I cry at the drop of a hat now and I'm really irritable. I used to never be like this. So I looked it up and could not believe the horror stories I found regarding the shot! I realize that there are those few that have no problems with it..but it's not worth all the other things it is doing to your body! I don’t know how long you’ve been on the shot.
