Just finished provera and about to begin clomid?

TTC and my ob prescribed provera (10mg for 5 days). I started my period 3 days later. It lasted 7 days and I am about to start clomid within the next month. I do not know much about the med but was anyone successful for the 1st time around? Any information? I would truly appreciate it.

But…I have a friend who got it on the second shot on 100mg doses…so she was a great success story!

Hi there i gor pregnant on my first round of clomid and i had been ttc for 2 and half years. It was the first time i had ever been pregnant. Unfortunately i miscarried at 6 wks so i was really 4 wks but i am hoping to start 2nd round this month. So it worked for me first time so i have high hopes for the 2nd round. For women who do not ovulate, clomid successfully induces ovulation in 85% of women. Of those, about 50% will be pregnant within 3-6 months.
