Therefore apply at bedtime is best if you are applying it once a day. Twice a day application is best.
Rotate to different areas to avoid saturation in any one particular site.
Here is a sample rotational application protocol:
Day 1 morning: Apply to the right side of the back of the neck.
Day 1 before bed: Apply to the left side of the back of the neck.
Day 2 morning: Apply to the right wrist area, with palm facing up.
Day 2 before bed: Apply to the left wrist area , with palm facing up.
Day 3 morning: Apply to the underside of the right upper arm.
Day 3 before bed: Apply to the underside of the left upper arm.
Repeat this cycle from day 4 onwards. In other words, day 4 will be the same as day 1, and day 5 will be the same as day 2, etc.
I buy mine in a pump form that has a dose per pump (it is SO much easier than trying to use the jar and guesstimating or whipping out the measuring spoons:) The instructions (depending on how many milligrams of progesterone you are using) are once or twice per day after you know you’ve ovulated. You can put it on your chest, forearms, or stomach. The average dose is somewhere around 60- 70 mg. either once a day at bedtime or split up (30/35 mg) twice a day in the a.m. and p.m. Take a test when you are expecting your period and if BFN (definitely test for a few days to be positive ) stop the progesterone so your period will start.
I use ProgestaCare cream and get it from amazon.
