I have really horrible cramps. Midol used to work, but recently it doesn’t. My doctor prescribed me pain killers, and I ran out so I decided to just go to a gynecologist. What options might she offer me? I know birth control pills are one. Also, could there be anything wrong with me that i’m getting usch bad cramps or is it normal?
to Princess: I’m already 18 years old almost 19. I know how periods work. My periods are very regular..I just have bad cramps.

I am 18 years old and sex hurts a lot. I did some research and a lot of people reccomend I get checked for a disorder just in case something’s wrong. I don’t know who my OBGYN is and my doctor is a male pediatrician who I don’t know how to get an appointment with (my mom makes the appointments) and I don’t want to talk to about this anyways. Do they offer these types of exams at free clinics?

I’m 18 years old, and I have never been to the gynecologist. My parents never even really talked to me about sex, much less going to the gynecologist. I’m just scared, and wondering what they’ll do. Especially since I tense up if anything is about to enter my vagina.

For example, a guy whose about 18 years old, starts taking estrogen pills. I know and heard that you must need to consult with a doctor first, but I want to know what are the bad sides about this.

Besides becoming for feminine, is there any dangers when messing with hormones? I would like to know the bad effects that COULD happen, but not WILL happen.

And I would also like to know the chances of having the bad effects, if there’s such thing~

I am 18 years old and ive had this since i was 12. im tired of living with it. and i read natural Progesterone cream helps but idk if thats for older people or menopause or something else. if i buy it would it change me?

Menopause, or not? no period for 4 months now.?

I am 50, I have missed one maybe 2 periods each year for the last 4 years. I have also had all the typical symptoms of menopausefor the last 6 years . I have not had a period for 4 months now. Is this common to have such a sudden stop to my periods ?I have also put on 12 lbs in the last 2 months, is that common?
my tubes have tied for 18 years. Should I assume that this is menopause and relax, for should I be making a Dr. apt.

I am super heavy on my period… I mean especially for someone petite like me… I am always aroused, by nothing at all. I masturbate at least 5 times a day. My breasts are sore, my acne is acting up, and my hair is thinning. My mood swings from one extreme to the next, and I am craving everything in sight. I know I am not pregnant, because I am not sexually active. Could I have a hormone imbalance? I am only 18 years old!

My doctor just prescribed me cyclo-progynova (a hormone replacement therapy). I am 18 years old and she prescribed me this medicine to regulate my period. She didn’t say much about what problems I have. She just said my ovaries are a little (I don’t remember how she described it….sluggish ovaries or something like that?) lol sorry :)
so my question now, am I supposed to lose or gain weight on this medication?
most of the time I feel I eat less than anyone in my age and yet I’m chunky and all my friends who eat like me or sometimes even more than me are skinnier.

I think I’m lacking in estrogen, a lot. Or I have a hormonal imbalance. I have annoying facial hair that takes me hours to pluck, plus I have to shave daily. I wish my daily routine could be effortless. I never wear my hair up due to my gross sideburns. I am on birth control right now, but its not helping me any way (only preventing pregnancy, lol). Is there any kind of herb I can take that will make my hormonal levels be normal. I’m only 18 years old, so its not menopause..and my mother doesn’t think this is a problem at all..so I can’t go to the doctors. Should I talk to my gyno or my normal doctor? Ugh, I don’t know what to do. I don’t want to get expensive laser treatments because I’m scared they won’t work. I just want to be less hairy. I shave everything and it takes forever!
*I meant shave my BODY daily..I don’t shave my face..yuck.
Ok I looked up hirutism and I’m not THAT bad. Just light annoying hairs that piss me off..mainly my sideburn and chin areas. Sometimes I’ll get a loooong black strand of hair growing out of my neck area. My boyfriend noticed it one day and was like ‘Wtf?’ It’s embarrasing.

I haven't had my period for two months. I'm not pregnant because I've had my tubes tied for 18 years, and I took a test just to make sure and it was negative. I'm only 41 and my mother didn't start going through menopause til she was in her mid 50's. Could missed periods be a symptom of something else?
