I asked the question because I heard on the radio tonight that phosomax (or fosomax) is prescribed for osteoperosis and because of some new problem after taking that for 5 years, doctors are suggesting that after 3 years of use that the patient needs to take a hiatis from the drug.
Personally I’ve been afraid to take calcium for fear it would build up in my system and cause deposits somewhere. Guess I just need to know more about osteoporosis.

I’ve always had a normal sex drive, not high, not low. Never really denied when my husband asked for sex. He usually has a bit on the high side sex drive.
I’m 23 years old, married for 3 years, and mother of a 7 month old baby girl. I’m always taking care of her, but recently I’ve just gotten back to work. Do I have a low sex drive because of work? I was thinking my sex drive dropped because I barely get any sleep, taking care of my daughter all throughout the night. Any help? Thanks.

I was just wondering what happens on your first obstetric appt? And when is it that they usually give you sonogram pics? My fiance and I were ttc for 3 years and he says that’s when he’ll believe that I’m pregnant. When he sees a sonogram pic lol.

I am 22 and have been married for almost 3 years and have never used contraceptive with my husband. I haven’t gotten pregnant yet. I don’t have regular periods, I go for a long time without anything and then once every 3-6 months have a period followed by spotting once a week or so for a month. I think I have PCOS but it hasn’t been confirmed by a doctor. Will using ovulation kits and basal thermometers and all that help me track my ovulation, assuming I am ovulating at all? Any recommendations?

We are married for over 10 years. He has a latex allergic and I have many side effects with pills. We are still pulling on with all side effects with either pills or condoms. We consulted doctors and mostly the advise is to go in for implant or surgery. We do not want that because, we are afraid that this might affect a future child (we are planning after 3 years). Is there a safer means of contraceptive. I will be thankful if anyone gives me some good suggestions from experience. I Truly appreciate your answers.

I am 19 and have been sexually active for a year. I have only been with one person, as has my partner. Recently I decided to go to Planned Parenthood to get birth control. When I talked to them on the phone they said that since I was under 21 and had been sexually active for under 3 years, that I could get birth control without a gynecological exam. When I told a friend this, she claimed that not only was this unsafe but Planned Parenthood was unsafe and its perscriptions were expired. How much of this is true?

I haven’t had a period in 3 years, 2 years on Depo-provera and 1 year off, so my obgyn prescribed 5 pills of Progesterone to jump start it back. My last pill was Saturday, it’s been a week now and it still hasn’t started. Is this normal, or should it have started by now? I really want to have a baby, but she told me this was the only way to start it back…I’d also like any suggestions you have?

My plan after college is to work for 2-3 years at an accounting firm and then apply for an FBI special agent position. I’d like to join the FBI Hostage Rescue Team after that. However, I have no intention of joining my local PD or military to gain tactical experience.
Does the FBI accept applicants without tactical experience?

My doctor prescribed me 10mg of Provera for 10 days to regulate my periods (I was bleeding literally non-stop for about 3 years). The doctor said that it would stop my period and then it would restart itself. I stopped taking it the end of last month. I was wondering how long after I stop taking the Provera would the bleeding stop?
