I’ve been trying for 7 months with no luck. I’m 35 and I don’t want to wait more until seeing my OBGYN. I am curious to know. How do they start? Is there any specific days of my cycle where tests are needed? which kind? I tried the Ovulation Predictors for 3mo. but they were never positive. Any ideas?

I really need some advice or anything that can help me get pregnant, we have been trying for 7 months and i was toldl that i have uneven ovaries and i do not ovulate normally also my mom told me that female problems do run in the family.. please if anyone has suggestions that could help me, please let me know… i am trying not to stress but i just get so depressed and i cry. i am so scared to find out that there is something wrong with me and that i cant have kids. i am male 20 150 pounds and i am thin as a rail. so what will happen to me? when i first started i gained about 40 pounds in 6 months (YES!) and after 2 years i quit the shots and i was taking a much lower dose. now after 7 months i am going back on the shots with a much higher dose ( think its much higher) and i want to know what may happen. should i change my diet (they have me dringing OJ with extra calceum sense i dislike milk) will it help me gainn even more weight (i would like to be 170 with 13% body fat)? what do you think?

I took the Depo-Provera shot about 7 months ago. It was my first shot and I never went back to get another one. I’ve read of the symptoms, however is it normal to still have such symptoms, like itchiness and light bleeding, after only have taken it once? I just had my period a couple of weeks ago, and I’m glad that I’m starting to have periods again. However, there’s this very uncomfortable itch that I have been having since after my period. What is wrong?

I was on the birth control pill for about 20 years. When I quit taking it at age 49, I have not had any periods in 7 months. However, now I am experiencing some pelvic pain with a thick clear vaginal discharge + odor. Is this a sign of perimenopause or menopause or should I contact my doctor?

I was on Depo-Provera for 9 months (3 rounds) and I have been trying to conceive for 2 years! I have not been like trying hardcore, but we have been having unprotected sex since June of 2006, and 2 years and 2 months later, I have had no luck! My periods were irregular for the first year or so but for the last 7 months they have been 31 days apart exactly! So I guess my questions is: How long were you on Depo and how long after you stopped did you conceive?

I have been on depo-provera for seven months and me and my finace both have decided to have a child of our own. We both have children from previous marriages. I started menopause 7 months ago. I have been having some hot flashes and night sweats. But since about 2 weeks ago I started having lower back pain that feels like I’m about the start my period. So my question is, is back pain one of the symptoms of menopause?

I have rectal cancer, which invaded my vagina, and has spread to my lungs.I have had major surgery 11/03,radiation and chemo. This started 7 months after we met.He promised he would take me in and take care of me.We had an active sex life before this – now I have a colostomy, am on pain meds; the treatments have destroyed my pelvic area and caused early menopause.I’m 53; he’s 58.He had me move in with him so he would take care of me, which he has gladly done until about a month ago.That’s when he met this married woman, while walking the dog. I was laid off from work(RN)months before my diagnosis, but I have paid every penny of my medical expenses – he has chosen not to have any health insurance. He works from home so he would be with me, and so he could work on politics and remodel the house all at the same time. I do as much as I can, but I’ve been on SSI for 2 years.Both of us are tired of the Cancer – is this my reward for surviving? I feel betrayed. He says he loves me.
