How do i stop spotting before my wedding?

Been off the pill for 9 months and the past 3 months i keep spotting every couple of weeks (in addition to getting full periods monthly) — and my wedding is in 2 weeks. How do i not have my period (or spot) for my wedding?

We are both 43 – She had cancer and finished treatment, but it sent her into menopause. She can’t get hormone replacement therapy, and basically told me "sorry, too bad, we are at a different phase of our life and get used to it." We have two young children and divorce is really not an option.
We already have gone 9 months with almost no sex – its been three months since she finished treatments
And how is this a choice between sex and my wife’s life?????

I am a female who is a natural bodybuilder. I was taking Dhea for about 9 months & i have been off it for 2 mo. & trying to get pregnant. I am 39 & wonder if Dhea has lowered my estrogen & made me stop ovulating.

I have very irregular periods. An example of this is, I had a period, then two weeks later had another one. Then a month and a half later I had another one. I am trying to get this under control. My periods have always been like this. I have been told that as I get older my periods would regulate, but I’m 23 and they are still the same way. I want this under control because I get married in 9 months and we plan on having kids.

gynecological exam and period issues?

i have been having bleeding for over a month now. this is the first period since i gave birth to my daughter 9 months ago, my dr said come in tuesday and they will check me out. i called them concerned because i was spotting so long– thought maybe it could be something out of the order. it was just spotting, but now it is heavy like a normal period, will i have to cancel or can they still check me out to see if everything is ok. im going to call and ask them, but the dr is on vacation till tuesday, so im not going to know until then.

I have insurance and everything, but I was just wondering what the monthly expense is for fertility pills. I haven’t been to the doctor yet, but my hubby and I have been ttc for 9 months now with no luck.

Bleeding with Depo Provera for 6 months?

I am in need of a little advice. I have been bleeding while on Depo provera for the past 6 months off and on. I have actually been on Depo for 4 1/2 years and the only problems I ever experienced before were spotting to light period around the time I was due for my next injection. It was awesome for these past 4 years because before it I had horribly heavy long lasting periods that left me very anemic. But for the past 6 months I have been bleeding on and off (mostly on), going from spotting to very heavy with clots. I’ve consulted my OB/GYN office about it and they just say that’s all normal with Depo and see how the next shot goes. It’s really annoying that they think bleeding constantly for 6 months is ok and they’re about to make me go another 3 months of it so that I’ll probably be bleeding for 9 months before they show any concern at all. I’ve looked online for answers. The only similar stories I can find to mine are women that have just started using Depo or premenopause symptoms in women that don’t use Depo. Bleeding isn’t the only problem and I’ve explained this to my OB. I told a friend about my issues and she said I seem to have many of the same symptoms as her (she’s not on Depo and age 43) and was diagnosed with premenopause. I am really starting to wonder if that isn’t my problem also. I’m only 33 but I think it’s possible. My mom was done with menopause all together by age 42 so early menopause runs in my family. Does anyone have any advice for me? My next shot is Friday. Here are the other symptoms I have:

*Night Sweats- I wake up every couple nights completely soaked.

*Hair loss on my head but hair growth on my face

*Memory problems

*Social anxiety- this is odd for me. I’ve never liked crowds but now I start shaking and feeling panicky when out in social settings with my husband.

*Bleeding more after working out

*Loss of sex drive- probably caused by bleeding all the time. This is ruining my marriage.

I truly appreciate anything anyone can give me. The Dr’s office is making me feel crazy for being concerned. They show no empathy at all and their only suggestions are to see how the next shot goes. I’m so frustrated!

What I mean is, is what they are testing for only present in the first month or so of the pregnancy, or will they still work throughout the pregnancy or at least in the first half or so? Would pregnant women who were 2, 4, 7, 8, and 9 months pregnant get accurate results if they used a home pregnancy test? Thank you guys.

So I was on birth control for about 9 months and during the summer my period would not stop so I was taking two to three birth control pills a day just to stop the bleeding. I went off them had a period in August and then they just stopped and I haven’t had one in three months. Can you kill your ovaries by taking to much birth control?

Girls are born with a specific number of eggs… but does getting pregnant mean that they don’t ovulate for 9 months and therefore won’t reach the menopause til 9 months later than they originally would’ve done?

A time in my life where I wanted to live as female( my partner was female, I never have been a homosexual and have always IDENTIFIED myself as male) I took male to female hormones for 9 months where they did little(now the changes are gone), to no changes to my body. I have also had a facelift, a nosejob, and trachea shave( addams apple cut out). I have been told by recruiters to not worry as this falls under don’t ask don’t tell. I can provide medical documentaion from my doctor stating I identify as the gender which I was born. Im 22, in CA, and can ace my asvab, and I am in perfect shape. No criminal history.

I used to never get my period. If I did, it was like one here and there with anywhere from 4 to 9 months in between. I tried natural progesterone cream and I get it now, but its too often! It feels like I get it every other week! Any ideas? Also I want to get pregnant, but I dont even know if I ovulate.
I am using the Aim Renewed balance cream 1/4th teaspoon twice a day. When I started it I didnt know what day I was on, so I used it until I got my period. Counted to day 12 from the first day and started it again. Used it until my period started again, which was only 11 days, the next time it was only 9 days. It seems like I would only need to use it once a month, but its more like twice a month. I just cant seem to get the pattern down. So I read that using it from day 5-26 for a couple months and then stopping can trigger ovulation, so I am trying that. We haven’t been really TRYING to conceive right now, but we also havent been preventing, and it just hasn’t happened.
Also, I was 16 when I got my first period. I am not taking any medications, and my doctors can not confirm if I have PCOS or not. Some say yes, some say no. I do have cysts on my ovaries, but not any large ones. Just small ones on both. I have been on Birth control pills on and off since I was 17 to try to regulate things. I got off of them about 2 years ago. I went 9 months with out a period and started using the cream. It gave me my period but my doctor still thinks that I do not ovulate. Everytime I have my blood work done, my LH is skyrocketing and my FSH is low. I also think I have low progesterone. It was at a 1.06. But again, I dont know what stage I was in, since at that time I did not get a period at all. So I guess I just need to know what to do to get a period at the right time every month using the cream. I have read a lot of things about it and I dont know what to believe.
If I didnt explain that right, I would use the cream until I get my period, and not use it while I am bleeding. I was counting day one as the first day I bleed and starting the cream again on day 12. But since I was getting 2 periods I didnt know if this was correct. But now that I read that I should try to shut my ovaries off, this month I started the cream on day 5, I am on day 17 right now, so if i follow the same pattern, I am expecting to bleed again today or tomorrow.

TTC for almost 9 months now. Found out I had a short luteal phase (7-8 days). Started taking progesterone cream and vitamin B6 and it has increased to 12 days. Plus, my menstrual cramps have GREATLY reduced. I was suspecting that I may have endometriosis, but have not been diagnosed. My question is, IF I do have it, would the progesterone cream actually make some of it go away, and make it easier to conceive? Of course lengthening the luteal phase is important, which the cream has seemed to do very well (along with vitamin B6). If anyone has any insight or experience, I’d love to know…
