it was described to me for three month, but my doctor said its not a birth Control pill, its called cyclo progynova, any one had it girls????? help please

I am already on a low dose birth control pill to help with early perimenopause symptoms,but the week before my period I still suffer.Weepy,emotional,anxiety,and more.I hate feeling like this.Does anyone else feel this way,and if so is there any natural things I could use along with my birth control to help?These symptoms are severe-I need help dealing.GOD-bless
I am happy with the pill I am on,it really helps,but nothing makes the symptoms go away completely.I just want some natural methods to help as well-Thanks.

I have recently switched from a estrogen/progesterone mix birth control pill to a progesterone only pill. I asked the pharmacist when I should start my period on this pill.. and he didn’t know.. Nor was he too concerned to answer my question. So if there are any of you females out there that know… please let me know. i would assume it’s the last week of the pill package like the combination pills.. but.. i don’t know. thanks.

I was on the birth control pill for about 20 years. When I quit taking it at age 49, I have not had any periods in 7 months. However, now I am experiencing some pelvic pain with a thick clear vaginal discharge + odor. Is this a sign of perimenopause or menopause or should I contact my doctor?

If I was losing a lot of hair due to hormonal imbalance and my hormonal imbalance was caused by discontinuing my birth control pill and It has been about 6 months since i last took birth control pills. If I start taking the pills again will that stop my hair loss.

I have had female pattern baldness (which after testing was not due to thyroids, blood problems, etc) since I was in my teens, and it runs in my family. However, during both of my pregnancies, my hair filled back in to an acceptable level (and of course, it fell out again a few months after each birth). What hormone caused the hair to begin growing again, and is there a way to take it (like the birth control pill) to combat female hair loss?

I am getting ready to start the Loestrin 24 fe birth control pill and see lots of negative comments about it on the web. I am in my 40′s and having issues with mood disorders related to perimenopause and my doctor is recommending this pill. I am looking for feedback from other women in their 40′s.

Can switching birth control pill cause vaginal and mouth dryness? If not, what could it be? As far as I checked, I don’t have any STD, unless there is something that went unnoticed… And my period is normal, so premature ovarian failure or menopause are not likely. I’ve never had this problem before.

I was told by my doctor I’m in perimenopause. I’m 43. He put me on a low dose birth control pill to help with my severe hot flashes. It’s the second day I’ve been taking it and I’m starting to bleed. I haven’t had a period since April, and now my period seems to be starting. Is this normal?

a friend of mine at work said a few years ago the doctor gave her a pill which ended menstration.It wasnt a birth control pill.I am perimenopause.My periods are worse all the time.More frequent,more cramps.I am so sick of it.I started when I was 11 and now i am 49.Have u heard of such a pill.My friend couldnt remember the name.

I am a medical student currently in my first year. I was advised by one of my doc’s to take it (an osteopath) and notr by my standard or allopath. Allopath’s are mainly recommending HRT which is carcinogenic. My osteopath has receommended estriol (which is a non-carniogenic form of estrogen) topical allong with the progesterone cream…trhouble is she just told me to take it according to the female cycle of which as a med student I am well aware. The tube directions give a huge overdose….my doc did not give exact measurement of dabs…and beleive me it makes a differenc as I can tell with the big depression, breast tenderness and other stuff I got. When you talk about going to your doctor…hey you are experiementing with that if you don’t know the facts. They often just babble off what the medication salesman just told often to your demise….big big problems in the news often lately so don’t flippantly tell me to go to my doc,.
Hey I’ve done hugmonous research…no one seems to know the best plan right now that is why I am putting this out here. Let me give you just one example. The current treatment of HRT is the exact same thing as the birth control pill…which was until recently never recommended for women over 35 or smokers b/c it is carcinogenic (cancer causing). Now drug companies saw the dollar signs in babybomer post menapausal women and they doctors all over babling about it and recommending it like crazy…beleive me I’ve done huge amounts of research…do yours! Do you know the effects of drugs you flippantly take just because some doctor you thought you could trust told you to take it?

I am thinking of trying the product because I have endometrosis and PMDD. I was wondering if anyone used the product and what they thought of it. Should I take it while I am on my birth control pill ( YAZ) .

Just had all the blood work done on me, from the gyno & MD, and all came back normal. Tried different beds, sheets, pajamas, fans, lowering temperature. Geeze, I am so sick of nightsweats. It is the wierdest, craziest thing! I am 35yrs. old, take an anti-depressent & 20 mg adderrall (twice a day), Lybren birth control pill, and smoke. I have a prescription for Chantix!
