What does medicaid family planning cover?

I am aware this covers pregnancy prevention such as birth control but does the family planning also cover pregnancy and prenatal care?

I had a baby four months ago and ever since then i have been so moody. I take the depo shot and i have to go see my gyno today. i like the shot but a side effect is moodiness. can i counter act that with an inti depressant or move on to a new Birth control?

I am thinking about taking birth control but i dont know what or which one to take. I am looking to take it to treat menstrual cramps and heavy flow. I want to use a safe and effective one.

I have recently moved to a new city, and haven’t set things up with a new doctor yet. I’m wondering how many appointments I need to make right away. My birth control prescription is about to run out – do I need to make an appointment with a gynecologist to get this renewed, or can I ask my regular doctor when I go in for a physical?

It’s usually only noticeable first thing in the morning when I get out of bed.

I’m not on birth control so it’s not breakthrough bleeding.
It’s lasted too long to be ovulation bleeding.

We are trying to conceive, and last had sex Sunday, the day I ovulated. The spotting started Thursday. A home pregnancy test came out negative, but it would be too soon after ovulation to tell anyway.

Could it be pregnancy related and I just need to wait to test later?

My first pregnancy, I experienced spotting on/off.

I asked about Natural Family Planning and the Catholic church once before and got some things clarified for me. Now I’m wondering, since using artificial forms of birth control is denying one half of the true union of marriage, is it okay for a couple to consciously choose to not have children at all, but stick with NFP? It does seem as though you are sort of rejecting a part of the other person when you decide that you don’t want kids with that person. I hope this makes sense.

Does the Natural Family Planning Association sell birth control pills?
And if you go to a family planning clinic, you don’t need a prescription for buying birth control pills, right? Just making sure

Natural remedies for heavy periods?

I tend to have heavy periods with clotting (which I’m told is normal for some women).

Other than getting birth control pills from the doctor–are there any natural remedies that can lessen my periods?

Is there something wrong with Natural Family Planning?

Every time I mention the words "Natural Family Planning" on this site, I get a bunch of thumbs-down. I don’t preach about it, but if someone posts a question saying they can’t or don’t want to take hormonal birth control, I will mention that it exists as an option, and I ALWAYS get a bunch of thumbs-down for it. Is there something wrong with Natural Family Planning? Do people have a problem with it for some reason?

Natural way to lessen or stop menstrual cramps?

What are some natural ways to stop or lessen menstrual cramps? As well as lessen bleeding?

I thought of birth control but can’t afford it right now and Midol and all those other pills don’t work for me.

Advice, experience and help would be great!
Unfortunately I am 18 and don’t have a great source of income so I can’t afford much. I’ll try the Banana and hard work. Since it is fathers day I have to go out so maybe that will help. Thanks for the advice!

What are the only options of this young woman?

A young woman visited her doctor for premarital gynecological examination and requested information on contraception. She plans to have a large family but “not just yet” She reveals that her faith prevents her from using any drugs or mechanical means of birth control. What are the only options of this young woman?

I am in my early twenties, constantly getting vaginal infections, am irritated and red every day of my life, missing periods, and intercourse with my fiance is impossible because my skin is so thin it rips. My gyno says there is no doubt i am seriously lacking estrogen- but he does not believe in perscribing hormones due to endometrial cancer risk. All i can do is take birth control pills and premarin topical cream. This is not enough, because i only am getting minor releif. I am planning on marriage soon, and hoping to start a family in the next few years. Will having low estrogen now pose a problem for when i want to conceive? How can i even have a sexual relationship with my husband if i am always so sore? Is it really that dangerous to take estrogen? or should i find a doctor who can perscribe it for me? I don’t want the risk of cancer, but I’d like to be able to live a normal life. If i were given hormones for treatment would i have to take it forever, or temporarily? Help!
