I recently had partial hysterectomy ( I still have my uterus ) and the hot flashes began soon after.Night sweats very often disturb my sleep, anxiety with no apparent reason and depression.I’m not very good at taking medications and looked into natural remedies.Primrose oil, black cohosh, magnesium etc. However, studies show that there’s no proven effectiveness and there are side effects too, like damaging the liver.I need help!!

i have been premenopausal for about eight years, the last two i have been having hot flashes, sometimes they are really really bad, the dr and i talked and i am now taking soy and black cohosh supplements because i dont want anything to do with hrt drugs, but i have a question, every few months i get bloated, swollen ankles, zits, and feel just like i am going to have my period, i never do, after about five days those symptoms disappear along with the hot flashes, about six weeks later the hot flashes return, i am going nuts, my dr. says he has a patient in her seventies that is still having them, i cannot do this for the rest of my life…………do any of you know why they go away for weeks and then will return, do they stay for years, help………..anyone that is going thru this is welcome to answer, if you have a bad attitude then go to the next question please, i am serious and in a bad mood………thanks

I just recently started getting my first hot flashes and was wondering
which remedy works best and the fastest?
I’ve been taking "Complete Balance" AM-PM by NATROL, with Soy, Calcium
and Black Cohosh for 5 days now and it doesn’t seem to make any difference.
Am I expecting results too soon? How long should it take to feel improvement?
I appreciate your advise.
