I suffer from vaginal dryness. My doctors will not give me any medications for estrogen as they can cause cancer. I heard I can buy some herbs to help me. I do not want to use creams before sex because this is embarassing. I am 59 and divorced. Can somebody help me by directing me to the right herbs to buy?

Being male is the NUMBER ONE factor for early death- more attention needed for men’s health?
We have 10 federal offices for women’s health issues, countless programs for women’s health, increased research into women’s health, etc.
Yet women already enjoy a MASSIVE health advantage- longer life.
Over 90% of deaths before the age of 70 are men, and it’s due mostly to biological factors:

It’s even worse for tall men, who live 15 years less than women on average
If menopause is significant enough to warrant billions of dollars of medical research, surely dying is to?
Is there any sexism worse than dying younger?

i’m not going through menopause or anything but i’ve been reading up on estrogen pills and cream and it is for women going through menopause to help boost their estrogen levels but it’s also used for natural enlargements of the breasts and the hips. i thought it was a great idea until i read all of the side effects including cancer . granted, the side effects are reduced when combined with progestin but that still doesn’t ease my mind enough to be able to take them. are there any other ways to increase bust size without having to go through plastic surgery?
and will gaining weight and then exercising my body in places other than my chest help out at all?

If Premature Ovarian Failure (Premature Menopause) is caused by "eating disorders", like as mentioned in the website : http://www.americanpregnancy.org/womensh… , can it be cured by balancing the diet? Has anybody gone through ‘estrogen imbalance’ and has got back his good health (good estrogen levels) by having a ‘balance diet’? Please mention your experience and the time duration (how much time it took your body to come back to normal estrogen/FSH levels without taking HRT treatment).
Answer to this question is very important for me. It can help me prevent cancer!

I am 24 and have had all the children I’m going to have, for sure. I have a very extensive family history of cancer, uterine cancer in particular. The 3 women in my family that had uterine cancer were diagnosed at a young age and had radical hysterectomies to treat the cancer. I was planning to have my tubes tied after I had my daughter but I’d much rather have a hysterectomy if a doctor would perform it because of my family history. Would a doctor do it?

I am 36 (almost 37) I’ve had 2 kids and a pretty decent health record. I’ve always had pretty regular periods about 30-35 day cycle.
Since December 2010 I’ve been experiencing something really off. My period in December was almost non existent, as in I hardly had to use a pad at all. In January it was 5 days late and very light like Decembers, but two days after I started it became very heavy and last for about 10 days.
I didn’t have one in February and now in March, 42 days after my january period I have another bout of super light spotting, but no real period. I don’t even have to wear a pad at all.
I know the logical answer is to go to my doctor, but in October of 2010 we lost our insurance through an employer and haven’t been able to get new insurance because we can’t afford it. If I am without insurance for 6 months I can apply for a state program, which isn’t free like medicare, but is lower cost so that I can afford it, I can apply for that in May.
I don’t know what to do right now, I am very scared. I do not really have any other health issues besides that I am a little overweight. I’m not sick or in any pain. I am just wondering if this has ever happened to anyone else and if they might have some advice for me while I am waiting to be able to apply for the insurance. I have two little boys and right now I am kind of freaking out thinking it might be something serious like cancer or something. Is there anyone out there that has ever had something like this happen? Could it be premenopause? Please if you are or know a doctor or anyone that can offer suggestions, I would really appreciate it.
Thanks
Thanks for these answers, they definitely make me feel better to hear other people that have experienced the same things or know people that have. It’s hard to find proper answers to these types of questions becasue each case seems so specific to the individual. The only symptoms I can really pinpoint regarding the possiblity of cancer is the abnormal menstrual cycle, so hearing that it could be premenapause, although not without it’s own problems, does give me some relief. Will definitely still be going to the doctor to check it out once I get Insurance in May.
Also, I did take a pregnancy back in early January after my super light period in December and it was negative. I might take another if I don’t have more then this super light spotting in the next few days, however I’d be really surprised if I am pregnant.

Ive been married over twenty years , about late last year. I felt my wife being distant no intimacy ,kissing ,touching, well you know no sex . At first I thought it was a fase she was going threw but then 1 month became 2 and 2 became 3 . Before you know it 6 months went by every time I insinuate she says she really doesn’t feel like it. She also says she loves me very much and to please understand.Im in my fifties so what do you do , I decided to read on women’s health. Her symptoms are saying to me premenopause , I thought great maybe a pill .Like hormone replacement therapy , but if I love my wife the risks outweigh the benefits. To risky my beautiful wife could get some kind of cancer , so no that is out the door.I want to be Intimate but I want her alive. So basically what Im saying if you ladies are going threw something like this? Is there something else that we don’t know that is out there? Don’t say doctors because they only push HRT is what drug companies want and is a repeat Business later for them when you get cancer.P.S. Im not thinking with my pecker sometimes a good deep kiss and a little a$$ grabbing goes a long way.
