We’ve been TTC for 2 years now and going to an OBGYN who isn’t being as "aggressive" as I’d like. Should we go to an RE instead? Also, my husband has type 1 diabetes. Would an RE be good for that? Thanks!

we all know that the common factors that caused ED or impotence are:

vascular disease, diabetes, drugs & alcohol abuse, hormone imbalances, neurologic conditions, radiation therapy, Peyronie’s disease, venous leak & psychological conditions.

my question is, how are we going to use these factors to explain the low Viagra usage or low ED rate in some countries such as Germany.

Thank you very much.

my periods are always very heavy, today i got my lab results back and the doctor said i am anemic and she said she thinks its because of my very heavy periods and my periods last a couple of weeks, how is this type of anemia treated? im a 21yr old female in the usa. I also have type 2 diabetes can anemia affect diabetes?

I just found out I have gestational diabetes. This is my 3rd pregnancy, but the first time that I’ve had this. I have been a lot more tired and irritated during this pregnancy than the others. Could the gestational diabetes have anything to do with that?

I want to give my father the Viridian Echinacea Root & Leaf extract, but im not sure whether it’s okay for him. He has diabetes and osteoporosis, and you must always be careful with these things. Is it safe for him?

My mom just found out that she has osteoporosis. I know that drinking milk with help this condition but she also has diabetes. What would be a good alternative to milk in this case?

Bleeding while urinating?

2 days ago i used the bathroom after coming home and when toward the end ofurinating, it hurt inside that area. and spots of blood came out. 2 days before that my period ended. I’m, 14 and i’m a virgin. it still happens but i don’t bleed anymore..it’s just a pain and after i urinated, i need to urinate again and a lil urine comes out with a shooting pain. Could i have UTI [Urinary Tract Infection] but i heard it’s for older people. I don’t think i could have it cuz i looked at another question about that and some1 sent them this:

Urinary tract infection is more likely to occur in women who:

are newly sexually active
are pregnant
are postmenopausal
have a history of diabetes, sickle-cell anemia, or abnormalities of the urinary tract
are on steroids
have been hospitalized recently.
What are the symptoms?

so i’m not sure. My sister said i should drink alot of water like 4 glasses each day minimum and if it doesnt stop by monday she’ll take me to see a doctor. Help???

My granny has diabetes. At night she has hot flashes. A friend told her when that happens to check her blood sugar, so she did and her blood sugar goes up to 160+ so my question is what is going on? What causes this to happen?

why is hormone replacement therapy important?

this is in terms of avoiding diabetes and other hormone related diseases, not menopause.

My doctor just told me recently she thinks I have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. She really didn’t explain to me what it was, so I am just wondering.

I am 14 years old and I have type 2 diabetes, so how could this effect me?

Any information you have can help, thanks.
I have had Insulin Resistance already.

And can you get rid of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome?

I think I have a hormonal imbalance?

I have hair in places it shouldn’t be. And I saw in 17 mag. that those things could mean a hormonal imbalance.

So what type of doctor do I need to go to?
What will they do to find out if I have it.

And what can I do to get the hair to stop growing?
Also I have very irregular periods which I dont know if that has something to do with it or what. Like I havent had a normal period but like once. Sometimes I have mine with every other month or like after 6 weeks and things like that. But it always comes on the same days (the weekends) so do you think that has something to do with it?

Also my family is not hairy either. So I dont think it is genetics.

Any ideas?
Oh and I am only 15

I haven’t been hairy at all until recently.

I have some on my shoulders and on my stomach and some on my chest.

Which are all places it said in seventeen mag. that it could be a hormonal imbalance. And then I have some on my butt even.
At least tell me something I should do to get rid of the hair
Well, the hair on my chest does bug me. And I can’t even wear normal shirts and stuff.

So I want to get rid of this.
And the same goes with my behind!!
And I dont have diabetes and I am not over weight either.

an ultrasound showed i had many follicles in the ovaries. i have also had very oily skin and acne since my teen years that just won’t go away. my doctor doesnt seem concerned, he doesn’t think it’s PCOS since i’m skinny and don’t have high blood pressure or diabetes or anything. so what else could it be?
there was also a little fluid in my pelvic cavity. dr said ruptured cyst?

I was originally diagnosed with Stein-Levinthal syndrome at age 19 and had PCOD throughout my 20′s and 30′s. I had a few surgeries for the cysts and finally a hysterectomy at age 43 because of a large cyst and endometriosis. I know that PCOD is associated with other endocrine problems (syndrome x, diabetes, insulin resistance, etc.) Once a person has a hysterectomy (including ovaries) are these health risks still an issue?

I need to know what type of doctor specializes in hormone therapy.
I thought it was an Endocrinologist but I’m being told that they deal with metabolic issues such as diabetes.

Specifically, what type of doctor would test/treat someone for testosterone deficiency or start HGH supplementation?
