I’m 41 and recently I’ve started gaining weight with no changes in my diet. I’ve been cranky, tired, have developed allergies and have started having panic attacks about death. Every night I lay in bed thinking about death and I start to cry and hyperventilate. I feel like I’m going crazy. Any of you ladies gone through menopause have any of these symptoms?

My step-sister is going to turn 20 next month.
She is of average weight, is not hairy, doesn’t have period pains, has regular periods, no history of PCOS in family, good diet, not much exercise, she has never had irregular periods before, she has clinical depression, she isn’t losing any hair from her head, she has normal blood pressure & isn’t diabetic as far as I know.
She had her periods from the age of 11. Her periods are very regular & she is generally a healthy person overall.
However, for the first time (this week) she has had her periods 4 days late. In addition, her periods are VERY light, almost as though she’s not even menstruating!
She isn’t feeling any pain or anuthing, but this is very unusual.
Stress does not affect her periods & her diet is perfectly normal.
What could be wrong with her?
Is it PCOS or is it premature menopause?
How would she know which one she’s got & how would a doctor diagnose a person with PCOS or premature menopause?
SHE IS NOT PREGANAT – SHE IS NOT SEXUALLY ACTIVE

Every month, it’s the same thing. I feel like I can’t stop eating. I can tell a big difference in my appetite during PMS and I always feel bloated during that time. I hate feeling hungry all the time but I don’t want to give in and gain weight either. I try to start a diet but always want to throw it out the window when PMS rolls around.

Since last few months I feel that I need to empty my bladder more frequently. Also I feel that I finish very quickly (approx. 2-3 mins). I am 34 yrs old. I am not taking any medicine and never seen a doctor for either problem. I don’t think that have any diet or stress problem. Do you think that I am having an enlarged prostate? If so, is it in any way connected to PE? Thanks for reading. I’d appreciate your thoughts.

Every time I am prescribed any anti-biotic, I get a yeast infection. Can a doctor prescribe something to fight off the yeast in advance or is there a reliable way to prevent it with home remedy or diet?

Is a diet of soy beans products good for osteoporosis patient or is soy beans products makes worst for them?
im really confuse because soy beans products especially Tofu is also high in phytates, an organic acids which blocks the uptake of calcium, magnesium, iron, and especially zinc and contributes to widespread mineral deficiencies.
Hence, Vegetarians – especially vegetarian children – who eat tofu and drink soy milk as substitutes for meat and dairy products are Infact at very high risk of loss of bone mass and severe mineral deficiencies.
Why does health professionals claim that soy bean is high is good for osteoporosis patient when in fact it has high in "Phytates" which blocks the uptake of calcium and contributes to loss of bone mass?
im really confuse. Please clarify this for me.
please show your source of information.
thanks

I usually experience heavy heavy periods and bad cramps. Lately they’ve been lasting the full 7 days and its awfully heavy and a hastle. I have not changed my diet really except for adding more vitamins to my diet. Please help me understand why its not as bad this month? I’m 26. Haven’t had a pap smear in 2 years.

Im just curious for personal reasons.. I have missed my period by 12 days and I haven’t gotten a positive result. I haven’t changed my diet or exercise and I haven’t been stressing. I have been having some pregnancy symptoms, some of which rule out PMS so im about 70 % sure that I am pregnant. Could I have a hormonal imbalance? If I am pregnant then I am 5 weeks pregnant…How long did it take you to finally get a positive pregnancy test?

I’m 25 and I have osteoporosis and always had irregular period since I got it when I was 15. I never had sex either. I do have small body frame and I was told having not a lot of body fat affects it? I do have a good diet, I don’t exercise a lot. I don’t have any out of the ordinary symptoms as I tried to look for different problems I could have. It may be possible an ovary doesn’t work. I may only get it every 2-3 months.

If I’ve got fibromyalgia (I think I do) I suspect my diet has something to do with it (prehaps other things too).
If I do have fibromyalgia, carbonated soft drinks heads my list as a possible contributor to it and/or with cafeine as a runner up and/or equal to it? Is there a corelation with either or both if they are taken together in a can or bottle of soda pop?
Thank you for any helpful input because it is getting painful.

Several medical doctors have told me that my options in the treatment for my endometriosis are:
1) Stay on birth control pills forever – which make be depressed
2) Take Lupron – which induces early menopause (I am 27 years old)
3) Hysterectomy
PS: I have made my own fourth option which I am currently pursuing: changing my diet to almost 90% vegetarian and 100% organic. So far so good!

My 3 year old chihuahua has a bladder stone and was given a Urinary SO diet dry dog food. He is very picky and won’t eat the food even if its wet. I’ve been making him his own dog food since the big recall, and whatever I do he wont eat it (mixing it with other foods).
Is there anything I can make that can help with his bladder stone?
