Do you think he is right? He also said that you will have a 50% increased chance of heart disease having a hysterectomy because when your ovaries shut down they wont produce estrogen which protects you from heart disease.

Has anyone ever used the vaginal medicine cream called Premarin? i went to my doctor today because i’ve been having some irritation and itching and she said its most likely because i’m dry down there and have a low amount of estrogen right now because i’m breastfeeding my 4 and a half month old. But i’m scared to use it because i read the side effects and it said things like breast cancer, breast pain, headaches, vaginal bleeding, and other things…so my question is if you have used Premarin, did you get any side effects? and did Premarin work for you?

i am confused, as i thought fibroids were caused by too much estrogen, and PCOS caused by too little estrogen and too much testosterone.

I am 22. Over the past few years, I have been noticing some changes occurring. My voice has been growing steadily deeper. I am getting unwanted body and facial hair. I have lost the girly shape to my hips. My libido has come to a stand still, I find it hard to sleep and when I do, I am still tired after waking. I shed more hair than a german shepherd, have adult acne, and so on and so forth. SOmeone suggested too much testosterone, so I took to the internet. Several medical sites claim that PCO can cause high testosterone levels, and I have had PCO since I was 12. I feel as though I could greatly benefit from estrogen, but I cant find any over the counter. Should I try progesterone creams or menopause treatments? How about estroven or similar products? Or should I take the time to try to get a prescription for estrogen? I cant afford a huge doctor bill right now, so please try to stay away from the prescription option if you can. Please help… I don’t want to feel like a man anymore

and my face is flushed right now. I’m 22, and I was having some problems burning down there, no bladder or vaginal infections. My gyno said I could be low on estrogen, and so gave me estrace cream. I used it tonight with no problems, it helped me feel better down there..BUT now I feel really warm and kinda feverish, my face feels hot and is flushing a bit..My mom said it’s my body adjusting, but I don’t know?
