Im going to take female hormones soon, and I dont want to give up smoking weed. regular girls get to do it, right?
I was wondereing if anyone knows if weed affects the body of someone undergoing HRT therapy in any sort of negative or serious way.
I’ve heard the issue where its phytoestrogens cling to the estrogen receptors in the body and it blocks the real estrogen from entering in. but if its just making the hormones less effective, then Im fine with that.
and Ive heard that it makes more testosterone in girls, and more estrogen in boys, so I dont even know where to begin on that issue, but I dont care about that I guess.
Im not here to have people tell me that doing weed is illegal, I know, or that "doing any kind of drug is a bad idea"
and Ive heard something about making bloodclots, but that wasnt specific to marijuana, that was just about inhaling smoke of any kind into the lungs.
I want to know if there has ever been a case where someone going under HRT therapy who was smoking weed suffered serious harm from the drugs interacting.
why not eliminate these hormones altogether from the human body?
I know next to nothing about biology, science in general. But having come across some articles in which it explains about how "estrogen (a female hormone) stimulates cancer growth" and that there are 40 variations of estrogen in the body. And that EVEN MALES HAVE A PLENTIFUL SUPPLY OF FEMALE HORMONES, then why not SUBSTITUTE these hormones?
They give transexual men who are becomming women the female hormones by pills or injections. They do this to help the man’s body become more women like (deposit fat in the hips butt thighs and make breasts) etc, but what if they give this to a female? Would it cause her breasts to become bigger or her hips or butt to become bigger? what would happen?

my friend has no interest in men, has no interest in changing his gender but for some stupid reason has decided not see a doctor and to start taking female hormones what are some of the possible permanent effects from him doing this?
by psychological i mean changes in personality. i know that men who take them acquire more feminine mannerisms(also some cases they turn gat, doctors still arent sure why). basically im asking if stuff like political views or likes/dislikes or hobbies will be affected. and if you have taken hormones what have you experienced
