a fertility specialist? Do obgyn’s help regulate your hormones and offer fertility treatments? I want to try this before seeking the treatments from a fertility doctor. Has anyone did this and became pregnant with treatments from your obgyn? Thanks in advance.

My husband and I had a daughter in February after 2 years of fertility treatments. We would like to start trying for a second baby in a few months and were wondering if we should try on our own for a while or if we should just not waste our time and head back to the fertility clinic. I have a condition where it is unlikely to get pregnant on our own. My last pregnancy was the result of a combination of injections and clomid.

Do you get a discount on IVF or fertility treatments? If anyone knows I would appreciate some feed back. Thanks!

I am working on a project for my Medical Ethics class about fertility treatments, but I have no idea how ethics is involved, other than the whole Octo-Mom scandal, and transplanting more embryos than necessary. Any help would be appreciated.

I’m 36 and I’ve been trying for several years to get pregnant. I can’t afford fertility treatments and don’t have insurance. I do get bad PMS. One doctor suggested that I may have endometreosis and another suggested fibroids. How do they test to see if you have them? And how can you remove fibroids? And are the procedures costly and painful? THANKS!

Is it possible for a woman to go through menopause before ever reaching 30? If so, is there anything that can be done to reverse it? Like hormone replacement or fertility treatments? I’m 29 now and have not had a period since this past September (NO I AM NOT PREGNANT) and this worries me. Before I was always a bit irregular, but nothing like this. I’d only skip one or two months. So now, I’m facing 30 and the chances of ever having a baby are looking very small… Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have been taking fertility treatments for a while. I had an IUI with fertility shots two months ago. Last month I started my period as usual and had severe cramps as I always do. This month I spotted for a whole week before having a heavier flow, but I NEVER had cramps and I’m not really sure I can pinpoint the first day of my period because it was so weird this month. In all my period (spotting and actual flow) has lasted for two weeks. I had an IUI with shots in March and the next menstrual cycles were normal. What worries me most is that I had no menstrual cramps – since starting my period at age 12 I have ALWAYS had severe cramps usually lasting two days. Could the fertility treatments send me into early menopause? Could it be something more serious? I’m only 31.
