ok so i am pretty worried, i think i am in premenopause cause my periods have been irregular and for the past two months almost everyday my stomach has been cramping as if i would get my period but i only spot. it has been pretty annoying and my back has started hurting as well :/ my friend who already went through menopause told me that its not normal and that it didn’t happen to her. but do you think my problem is serious or is it normal? im gonna go visit my gyno soon but i would just like to know ahead of time because it has been stressing me out. thank you

Is it a bad idea to use a tampon while getting rid of a yeast infection? I was given medicine to take orally three days ago and it has been going away. Also, my gyno noticed that I have a lot of irritation and bumps due to it being a harsh infection. Now would it be a bad idea to use tampons because I read that you could make the infection worse and push it further into the body. Would it be okay if I just used it for one day when it gets really bad?

I am on Clomid 50mg CD 3-7.My Gyno also prescribed me Progesterone Cream because i have short leuteal phase defect.Today I am on CD 17.I have heard that progesterone cream should only be AFTER ovulation.

My question is can you pls check my BBT chart and let me know if i ovulated yet or not.If i have not ovulated yet i will wait till ovulation before using the progesterone gel.

im 19 so im still very young. my gyno and all of the other specialists ive seen have told me ive gone/going thru menopause. im just curiouse if i really can not have my own children naturally..

I had two miscarriages last year. The doc did several tests and everything was fine, and told me I should try again. Well I changes my gyno bcuz I want someone who will at least give me something that can prevent miscarriages. This time my new gyno told me to take baby aspirin and progesterone. Can tis help me? About two in a half years ago a gyno that I had, told me I had a hormonal imbalance, and I believe I still do. I have not ovulated since May of 09, and I have not been breast feeding since my toddler was about four months old…. And my breast still has a little left over ( I squeezed it once and milk like substance came out TMI sorry) And my emotions are up and down…. What is going on? Is the hormonal imbalance still there? And if so what can I do to balance my hormones again?
I want to know so, I can finely have this in control and along with my fertility.

I have my period every month

Hi everyone. I recently went to the gyno and she did a bloodtest. I’m going back next thursday as a follow-up to see the results. I haven’t been getting normal periods since September. I just have a lot of spotting with brownish clumpy tissue that is really light. I had a somewhat normal period before thanksgiving. She said that she thinks I have a hormonal imbalance. She felt my next to see if it was a thyroid thing. But, she didn’t say anything about that so I guess my thyroid doesn’t have a tumor or anything. Does anyone know the most common causes of these kinds of problems?
I always forget to add my age, I am 19 years old.

I’m experiencing severe vaginal dryness, to the point where having sex is impossible without using lubricants. Are there any natural ways to remedy this?
By the way, I’m 25, I’m not on birth control pills but I lost a lot of weight in the last year.
What could be the reason for the dryness?Any remedies?

Okay so in my family(blood related) there are 3 other people that can’t have kids or that have miscarried. 1 miscarries muliple times a year and has cysts on her ovaries…tons on one and 1 as big as her ovary onthe other side. I don’t really know how to explain everything she said but baisically its cuz shes miscarried and stuff and she has a hormonal imbalance. Well she said weight gain, black hair on stomach, belly and face was a sign. I have all of those, but my hair has always been black on my legs and belly it just got worse cuz i shaved both. Then i had something happen so I had steroids pumped in my body for three days and a mustache formed, not bad but i do have to shave it. could I have it too? I’m young and all my pas came back fine and I was pregnant but miscarried at about 6 weeks along… the others can’t conceive as far as i know but i don’t know why with them. could I really have a hormonal imblance? How do i find out for sure(on medicaid)? and what are some symtoms?
Any suggestions? What kind of doctor? Does my gyno need to refer me for medicaid to cover it? What tests should I ask to have done? Any personal experiences? What did you do? Anything is really appreciated! I am trying to have a baby! Thank you!

I am almost 30yrs.old and my moods are sometimes high or really low. My question is could I be hormonaly imbalanced? I went to a psychiatrist and he didn’t ask about my periods or anything and just said your bi-polar. But my family has a history of gland issues and hormanal ones. I grow facial hair and breast hair, my periods are regular but I either suffer from extreme fatigue or insomnia. And my symptoms are exaggerated when my monthly comes around. So do you think he might have made a hasty diagnosos or not? and should I see my gyno for a test? I’m experiencing either an underactive thyroid or perimenopause or maybe even both. I’m 33 and don’t know if to visit my regular doctor or my gynocologist? My symptoms are: fatigue, cold hands & feet, bit of depression, muscle spasms, hair loss, drowsiness, dizziness, heart palpitations, decreased libido and lubrication, major junk food craving, extremely light periods, very bloated and acne along jawline and under chin plus the area where the thyroid is is swollen and can feel a lump there. When I drink coffee I have major hot flashes for 10 minutes to an hour where before I didn’t. I’ve been reading that more and more women are getting perimenopause at earlier ages. I have been having hot flashes and night sweats for a little over 6 years. The only suggestion the gyno offered was taking Black Co-hash (no help there) and soy supplements (no help either). Any suggestions (besides hormone therapy)? How long does it last?

I’ve had some vaginal itching and dryness. I do not have a yeast infection, have recently seen a gyno a couple months ago. Do not have STDs and have no chance of getting an STD. I am on b/c though and it said one of the side effects is vaginal dryness. I’m not going to change b/c, so don’t suggest that.

I’ve gotten this before and it usually goes away after a few days. But are there any creams, and what, can I use? Thanks
