I’m 24 years old and have had my period off and on for the past 3 weeks and finally had a chance to see my doctor, he basically told told I may be having a very bad hormonal imbalance so he is asking me to go on Premarin to help me out with the regulations and such. He knows also me and my husband have been wanting to try to have a baby but its hard to do when you wont stop bleeding! heh.. anyhoo I was just wondering of any of you out there have used this product and know what I should expect when taking it or any good advice for what I should ask the doctor about when he calls me back Monday with lab results. Also he said there is a chance I might have PCOS(I’m hoping I don’t though but we’ll see). Thanks you guys!

Im just curious for personal reasons.. I have missed my period by 12 days and I haven’t gotten a positive result. I haven’t changed my diet or exercise and I haven’t been stressing. I have been having some pregnancy symptoms, some of which rule out PMS so im about 70 % sure that I am pregnant. Could I have a hormonal imbalance? If I am pregnant then I am 5 weeks pregnant…How long did it take you to finally get a positive pregnancy test?

This is really embarrassing, and I’m afraid my boyfriend will get kinda grossed out, so, what should I do? Ever since I was little I’ve been kind of hairy, but now that I’m a teenager it bothers me and I think it’s kind of embarrassing, and I’m afraid guys might think it’s gross…… I have wispy blondeish-white hairs all over my back, stomach, arms, and even a bit on my BUTT!!!! I don’t think it’s normal, and I read it could be a hormonal imbalance, but it’s always been this way!!! I don’t have a mustache or anything, but I’m just HAIRY! And I find it gross even sometimes, so do I have a hormonal imbalance or am I just naturally hairy? And if it’s just naturally what can I do so that the hair won’t grow back thicker? Thanks

Is this a hormonal imbalance? IM scared please help!?

Is this a hormonal imbalance or what is it?

Ok I haven’t done anything sex since September and I had a pregnancy scare is why I took 6 hpts in October (1 every week) and I had a blood test on November 3rd. I’ve also had periods. My gynocolegist started ne in the progestin only birth control and I quit it after 2 weeks because I was getting headaches and breast tenderness and swelling also it made my nipples look dark when I was cold. I started it dec.1st and stopped it 2 weeks later and my boobs still feel kinda swollen and my nipples are really light sometimes and dark others???? Us thus possibly a hormonal imbalance? I’m also on 0.5 mg of Xanax. But I dint think that has anything to do with it???????

Is this hormonal imbalance?

I am now 36 and for the past few years have felt different. Then this past year it seems to have gotten worse. I have lost interest in so many things I used to love, like, reading, mowing the grass, going to the gym, church, and so on. Low sex-drive as well. I continue to buy interesting books, but I bring them home and put them in a pile and say I’ll do it another day. I feel like I’m tired and exhausted, my muscles ache. I feel like I have lost a disconnection from my feelings. I can laugh, but it’s more a response than a feeling. I know I love my family, but I don’t feel it. I’ve been dating this guy for a few months now and I know I like him, but I don’t feel love or happiness. I know I want to be with him though. I feel like there’s is something disconnected inside me that someone needs to plug back in so I can enjoy life again and be more of myself. I did have my DHEA, Cortisol, and Testosterone tested. DHEA & Test came back very low, but will be retesting again soon. All my bloodwork came back normal. I’m really hoping it’s just my hormones out of wack and with some meds can get back on track.
I really would like to hear from others especially if you have the disconnection from your feelings and emotions. I do not feel like this is mental, depression even though some symptoms sound like it.
Also, if it is a hormonal imbalance will meds instantly make you feel better or is this something that takes time?

Sometimes when I ovulate, or on the first day of my period, I feel like I am having a slight hotflash. I don’t know for sure if it is a hot flash. I just feel warm for a brief period of time. I am wondering if there is anything else besides menopause that can cause hotflashes such as a hormonal imbalance. I am 34, and have never had children. My Mother went through menopause when she was around 50.

Do prenatal vitamins help with hormonal imbalance?

I’m pretty sure i have a hormonal imbalance because of how irregular my periods have always been. I haven’t had it in four months now, and when i took a pregnancy test a month and a half ago it was negative, but yesterday and today i got positive. I am going to see my doctor on Friday, but after reading that hormonal imbalance is a common cause of miscarriage, my fiance is going to pick me up some prenatal vitamins at the store today, just to be on the safe side. Any that help with a hormonal imbalance just in case i really do have one?
I stopped with all of the junk food and fast food about 3 months ago, so i already eat right. That’s really all you need to do??

Can you have a hormonal imbalance when your 14?

So i went to the doctor about my acne and he gave me a pill called dianette to start with and i took it for five months (i had other treatment too by the way) but that pill was giving me side effects (well i thought it was) i started feeling dizzy all the time and getting bad headaches and feeling really tired and distant so i started taking a new pill called yasmin but that made me feel the same but with even worse headaches so i stopped taking that too! I stopped taking both pills half way through a month pack as the symptoms were really bad, do you think i could possibly have a hormonal imbalance that makes me feel like this and that it wasn’t related to the pill at all? My mum thinks it is a hormonal imbalance as her friends children felt the same when they were my age but what do you think is it possible that i could have a hormonal imbalance and do i need to talk to a doctor about it and is there any treatment? thanks for any answers :)
I also always get bladder infections (cystitis) could this be linked?

basically the only thing i have going that seems to be a hormonal imbalance is that i have extremely oily skin. i’ve always suspected that this is some sort of hormonal imbalance and having an overproduction of androgens, especially because i know that i got this oily skin from my dad and so i’m thinking i inherited some kind of hormonal imbalance. how can i find out if this is true and am i supposed to see an endocrinologist or something?

Some people say that a hormonal imbalance causes homosexuality.

But if that were the case, then why do lesbians have breasts, and gay men have chest hair (or hair on other parts of their body only men can get)?

Can anyone explain this to me? Because I’m drawing a blank.

Note: If you do not have anything nice to say about what you think the real cause of homosexuality is, please don’t answer. I don’t feel like busting any trolls today.
NARTH has actually said this already.

They are responsible for a lot of homophobia. They make their information seem scientific, but it is really not. Scientists say that they violate scientific pronciples

A lesbian worked there to try and turn straight, and she quit her job because of what they were doing. According to her, they were taking the common homophobic arguements and carefully wording them to avoid controversy. She admitted that a lot of the research is based on religion, which is a big no-no in science.

Tell me if this sounds plausible:

They said they have "proved" that gay men are child molestors by doing brain scans of gay men’s brains and found that homosexuality is an immature sexuality and so it enables the homosexual to molest children.

Does that sound like truth?
I am gay, and I refute NARTH because of their scientifically implausiblities. I am totally against them, but for those who also believe the same way, I have the website link here, so you can take a look and see just how silly some of their arguements are!

http://www.narth.com/

I am also very manly for a gay men. I cannot believe that people can say that I have a woman’s brain.

(or at least a part of a woman’s brain)

i have had horrible acne on my back, forehead and around my mouth for 8 years. i’m 18, so that’s almost half my life….kinda. lol.
i was considering accutane, but i read of people getting acne and dark under their eyes because of a hormonal imbalance. i’m pushing for the imbalance thing, because i havent grown in any way, shape, or form since i was about 13. havent even gotten an inch taller. booo! lol. besides the point tho, lol.
whuts up with all the spam adds? i just want an answer, hahahaha

How do you know if you have a hormonal imbalance?

Okay here’s my problem. Ever since I started college which was very stressful for me I have these rediclous mood swings. I can go from very happy to extremely depressed to very mad to anxious. Right now I’m at anxious which is the worst. I’m not sure if these are just me causing it because it does get worse with stress or if it truely is a hormonal imbalance. Its frustrating because often it feels just like a wave of unexplained feelings. What would be other signs? I am going to a doctor once I get my insurance situtation figured out. Thanks

Does it sound like I have a hormonal imbalance?

About the time I turned 16 I’ve been experiencing unwanted bad thoughts and anxiety. The anxiety got so bad that I had a visit with the doctor and he put me on lexapro and that has seemed to help the anxiety alot. Until about 3 weeks ago I hadn’t had a period in 6 months and when I finally did it was terrible and my flow was heavier then ever and I felt like my stomach was about to explode and I had 2 anxiety attacks does it sound like I have a hormonal imbalance and who do I see about getting it straightened out?

I’ve never had any trouble with periods–like clockwork every 28 days (for the most part), outside of the times I was either pregnant or nursing. I started a weird period on the 14th of this month–it began with light cramping and spotting off and on a few days before my period actually came–did a preg. test, and it was negative. My period came on the night it was due (usually shows up first thing in the morning) and it lasted for about four days.

My last period day was around the 16th or 17th of the month and today (the 22nd) I started spotting with no cramping or any other symptoms except weepiness and emotions. (Also, my husband and I had unprotected sex several days following my period.)

Is pregnancy possible or likely? Or is it more likely that it could be a hormonal imbalance of some sort. Wouldn’t my periods be irregular if it was an imbalance??

I’m making a doc appointment tomorrow–just asking the question to pass my time. Thanks!!!
