when a women has a hot flash does her body temperture go up
I’m 20 years old, and for the past several years I’ll suddenly get what I imagine a hot flash feels like… hot, sick, dizzy, feel like I might throw up completely out of the blue. I used to think it was because everything was so stressful but now even when things are calm I still get them and I was wondering what it was and what I could do about it?
I took this medication 500 mg yesterday with no side effects, then this morning was my second dose, and my skin is on fire, how long will this hot flash last?
I hear your temperature rises close to ovulation or during it! last 2days i cant sleep i got hot flash’s and im only 25.
What about hot hot bright red face, and pounding gums that you can feel coming and it happens for about a full two minutes then goes away like nothing ever happened? Hot flash or panic attack?

I’m in a bet and I’d like to know whether its called hot flash, or heat flash.
is that common, or a sudden hot skin sensation….followed by sweating….
the doc’s say im having panic attacks, and i kinda had an anxious moment…and as i was feeling myself getting freaked out (over something i was reading) i felth this hot flash over my arms and upper back…..
i was unsure if hot flashes/hot sweats are symptoms of panic attacks.
I know that a hot flash can make you feel hot, but can it actually raise your body temp too?
Grr, I get really hot and my ears turn red as all get out every night at around 7pm. I told my doc, but she was not to concerned. my temp can go up to 99.0. It does not feel like a fever, i just feel like I am overcome with heat very rapidly. Its odd how it is almost the same time every night.
I have talked to many women who described their hot flashes differently. I wonder if I’m having a hot flash or it is simply the humid weather.
This sounds weird but my forearm has been having what I call a hot flash every now and then for the past month. Basically, it feels like someone is taking a hair dryer on high heat and waving it right on my forearm then it goes away just like that. It lasts maybe a second or two. It happens right below my elbow on the inner side of my forearm. I am not on any meds or anything and I am only 24. Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks.
My friend is male and had a nuclear stress test about two months ago and the cardiologist said everything looked fine, however since this test he occassionally has what he describes is like a hot flash that feels as if it whooshes through his whole body. Is this normal, and if so for how long? This is starting to scare him, and he already has problems with anxiety!
Sometimes when my little one is pushing on my stomach from the inside I get an uncomfy hot flash feeling. My doc said some women experience this when they get their insides pushed around. I was just wondering if anyone else experienced this?
I am 37 weeks but it’s been happening for at least a month.
Yes, it’s just in my head! Love that answer!
m a 16 year old male with a severe hot flash and headache. What is the casue and possibly a solution?
Well, this morning, it was weird. I went upstairs to my room to get something, and as I approached my bed I felt extremely lightheaded so I had to lie down. Then I got up once the feeling went away, and then the lightheaded-ness came back- but I also felt nauseous, started gagging like I was about to throw up, and then a LOT of heat rushed to my face. My entire head was very hot. Then I lied down AGAIN, because I knew it would make the symptoms stop. But I couldn’t leave my room without getting the thing I needed, so I got up- and all the symptoms came back. Once I got downstairs the hot flashes went away, the nausea mostly went away, and the lightheaded-ness mostly did too.
So what the hell was this? Was that really a hot flash? I’m basing this inference off of what I’ve heard about hot flashes in the past and on the fact that my head got extremely warm so suddenly. But I wasn’t expecting a hot flash for another 40 years.
Someone explain?
This evening I sat down to eat dinner and I got really hot all of a sudden a broke out in a light sweat, my face even looked a little flushed, I don’t have a fever, and when I changed into shorts and drank some cold water I felt fine a minute later. I’m only 26 and I should be getting my period anytime, it’s actually a couple days late, could the hot flash be a symptom of pms or early pregnancy or what else could it be should I be worried?
