I just got a referral to a fertility specialist. I’ve already done the HSG and clomid and all that with my OB. So what is the first appointment like? Do we go right into doing an IUI perhaps? I just called for an appt and the next available is in two months

My estrogen levels were 511 with my last FSH blood test. My doctor told me this was a symptom of Pre menopause. My question is, have you been told your estrogen levels were too high and still were able to conceive via IUI with Clomid?

My Wife has a problem of Polycystic ovaries. We have tried all kinds of hormone therapy. Though the hormones do bring her cycle in order it has its side effects. We have tried Naturally and through IUI but no results. Can somebody suggest how we can get treatment and if there is a good IVF center in India?

I have a short luteal phase and I am on Femara this month. When I was on Clomid in the past, I had a lengthened luteal phase. However, I don’t know if the Femara will lengthen my luteal phase or not. I did ask at the doctor’s office when I got an IUI done but I got the procedure done on a weekend and the only one there was a nurse, and she basically said she didn’t know. I have lost pregnancies in the past because of a lack of progesterone and short luteal phase, so I’d like to take progesterone cream just in case. I am currently 5 dpo. Is it too late to start using the cream? Any opinions would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I just had an IUI done this morning and was instructed to start the progesterone tonight.

I’ve used it in the past and didn’t start until 2dpo. I haven’t made it through my 2ww ever.

Did anyone start theirs early?

I have been taking fertility treatments for a while. I had an IUI with fertility shots two months ago. Last month I started my period as usual and had severe cramps as I always do. This month I spotted for a whole week before having a heavier flow, but I NEVER had cramps and I’m not really sure I can pinpoint the first day of my period because it was so weird this month. In all my period (spotting and actual flow) has lasted for two weeks. I had an IUI with shots in March and the next menstrual cycles were normal. What worries me most is that I had no menstrual cramps – I ALWAYS have severe cramps usually lasting two days. Could the fertility treatments send me into early menopause? I’m only 31.

We are having an IUI done on the 14th of AUG and my dr wants me to use some progesterone cream and she ordered me a prescription and it is 0, and then someone told me that you can buy it over the counter for way less.
Is it the over the counter the same as the prescription?
