I have horrible dysmenorrhea (menstrual cramps) caused by a condition that I have called a retroverted uterus. This causes periods to be extra painful, and often on the first day I get really sweaty and faint and I cannot concentrate, and usually medicine does not help. I have heard that giving birth feels like period cramps times 100, so maybe what I experience is somewhat like birth (but a little less painful). Is this true?

I need some feedback on weight gain/sexual enhancement for premarin and testosterone injections. Are there testosterone pills or some other alternative medicine for increased libido?

For instance, is there a combined residency that includes OB/GYN and, say, family medicine, or internal medicine, or surgery, etc, etc, etc. ?

Has anyone ever used the vaginal medicine cream called Premarin? i went to my doctor today because i’ve been having some irritation and itching and she said its most likely because i’m dry down there and have a low amount of estrogen right now because i’m breastfeeding my 4 and a half month old. But i’m scared to use it because i read the side effects and it said things like breast cancer, breast pain, headaches, vaginal bleeding, and other things…so my question is if you have used Premarin, did you get any side effects? and did Premarin work for you?

i need to know about this kind of medicine if it is true or not..is there anyone to help?

Every time my boyfriend and I have sex, or even if he just rubs my vagina with his fingers without entering me, it really hurts. And if he cums inside me, it burns. Is there a medicine out there that an OBGYN could possibly prescribe to help the pain subside or that would get rid of it altogether?

I mean it hurts so bad that I try to avoid sex as much as possible, and both my boyfriend and myself hate it.

I’m leaving for PCB today for vacation, but now i’ve started my period. Obviously I can’t go swimming when thats going on. I’m bleeding pretty badly, as usual.
What is something I can do, some foods I can eat, or some medicine I can take to make the menstrual flow lesssen immediately?

Vaginal issues?

Hi everyone,

Since July, I have been having unusual vaginal discharge. It’s yellowish in color, and it usually comes morning or early afternoon. Somedays I get a lot of it, other days hardly any. It is not ichy or painful. (I get occasional vaginal iching, but nothing that seems out of the ordinary. I went to see my doctor, and he said he couldn’t find anything wrong. He told me he didn’t think I needed to do anything about it.
Sooooo…has anyone heard of this before. Ladies, have any of you dealt with this?
I should add…I have only ever slept with one person and we’ve been together for three years (we’re engaged now) so I’m at very low risk for STD’s. I was actually tested for STD’s twice this summer (because of the discharge) and nothing came up.
Also…this isn’t a yeast infection. I’ve had those before. In this case, however, I took yeast infection medicine several times and it didn’t help. The doctor’s tests turned up no yeast.
I’m 27 years old. And the doctor I saw was an OBGYN.

What causes menstrual pains especially if it affects one to be sick for 2 day even if one take midol. What is the best medicine to cure or make one relief of this pain

so I am a 16 year old girl been on levoxyl for about 6 months for hypothyroidism due to radioactive iodine previously hyperthyroid. Anyways, every since I started taking the medicine I have a terrible time falling asleep due to racing thoughts and terrible anxiety. I had my levels checked a few weeks ago that indicated that I was slightly hypo TSH 5.7. I know its not due to hyperthyroidism, so is it better if you take it in the morning?

Since last few months I feel that I need to empty my bladder more frequently. Also I feel that I finish very quickly (approx. 2-3 mins). I am 34 yrs old. I am not taking any medicine and never seen a doctor for either problem. I don’t think that have any diet or stress problem. Do you think that I am having an enlarged prostate? If so, is it in any way connected to PE? Thanks for reading. I’d appreciate your thoughts.

Is it helpful to massage your abdomen when you have cramps? Or what are some more ways to relieve menstrual cramps other than heat and medicine?

Also, is there a way to make your menstrual flow lighter?
