I am a almost 30yrs female and tired of not having any sex drive. I feel horrible in relationships because I know I should want to have sex more, I just rarely seem to want to. I probably am one of the only females that would rather perform oral sex 90% of the time and have intercourse every once in a while.

I don’t want to be like this anymore and have horrible insurance and very little time to be running around investigating this problem…so if anyone has any insight please provide it.

I do notice that I tend to have much more of a sex drive in the morning, and at night I am just not interested. I am not ruling out the idea that it is emotional however I do believe I have hormone imbalances. (I have horrible acne, extremely light menstrual cycles, don’t sleep well, low body temp. and lots of other signs of such.) When I can get into it, I don’t orgasm and half way through am waiting for it to be over. I also recently noticed bleeding and have cramps a day or 2 afterwards

What are normal fluctuations in a menstrual cycle?

I have what I would consider to be normal menstrual cycles. They last anywhere from 23-26 days and average between 24-25 days. My cycles seem to be getting longer lately though, the last 6 months having been 24, 26, 24, 23, 26, 25, 25 and I am now on cycle day 28. Could mine be considered to be irregular cycles or are they just getting longer? What could be the cause of cycles getting longer?

Btw, I am 27, married, and ttc. Any help is appreciated. Thx!

I was told in ER I had a cyst on my ovaries and I told my doctor. He did not seem concerned. Now that I have missed 3 menstrual cycles he is concerned with it and making a big deal out of it what changed?

Hormonal Imbalance–which one do I have?

What type of hormonal imbalance do I have?

Don’t always ovulate
Breasts aren’t considered *full*
Ovarian cysts
Dry skin, moderate acne
Anxiety, Asthma, Allergies

My lp length is normal (12 – 14 days) and I have regular menstrual cycles (26-28 days) but I start spotting a few days before AF (approx 8-9 dpo). I have been taking 50mg B6 this last cycle (about to end) which I just upped to 100mg. I also have some vitex to start once AF actually shows.

I’m 35 years old. In my teen years, all thru my 20s and into my 30s, I got my period every 34-38 days, approx. I know that’s MUCH longer than "average", but it was normal for me because it was very consistent. (I don’t use birth control pills).

However, in the last year or so, I’ve noticed I’m now getting my periods every 30-34 days, approximately. There are some a bit longer, but overall I’ve definitely sensed a "shortening" in my cycle. Does this sound more like a change that occurs “just because,” or a change signalling perimenopause? Don’t worry: if anything extreme or unsettling starts happening, I’ll of course see my ob/gyn.

Also, I’ve clearly sensed in the last year or so that my ADHD, forgetfulness, anxiety and insomnia issues (which I’ve always had to a mild degree) have gotten worse. My psychiatrist even thinks I have a bit of depression now as well! I’ve heard that ALL of the above can also be symptoms of the hormonal changes of perimenopause.

Your thoughts? Thanks! :)
OOPS! Sorry, I forgot to explain perimenopause, although if you’re answering this question you probably already know. :) Anyhoo, per the Mayo Clinic website, perimenopause…

"…marks the interval in which your body begins its transition into menopause. Perimenopause encompasses the years leading up to menopause — anywhere from two to eight years… The levels of your reproductive hormones — estrogen and progesterone — rise and fall unevenly during perimenopause. Your menstrual cycles may lengthen or shorten, and you begin having menstrual cycles in which you don’t ovulate."

Could I be pre-menopausal? Please help…?

I have been taking fertility treatments for a while. I had an IUI with fertility shots two months ago. Last month I started my period as usual and had severe cramps as I always do. This month I spotted for a whole week before having a heavier flow, but I NEVER had cramps and I’m not really sure I can pinpoint the first day of my period because it was so weird this month. In all my period (spotting and actual flow) has lasted for two weeks. I had an IUI with shots in March and the next menstrual cycles were normal. What worries me most is that I had no menstrual cramps – I ALWAYS have severe cramps usually lasting two days. Could the fertility treatments send me into early menopause? I’m only 31.

dizzyness, extreme fatigue, depression, and breast tenderness. I have been on yasmin 28 for years and recently switched to seasonique ( which is a 3 month treatment with menstrual cycles every 3 months.) But what is puzzling is the symptoms were occurring way before my switching the pills. Is there a possibility that i am going through menopause? What is wrong with my body>? Are there certain vitamins or herbals or even other meds that can cause these uncomfortable side effects or maybe some that might even help diminish them>?
