I have 4 cats, Xena, female, age 12 and 3 males, Squee, 8, Tweek, 7 and Spawn, 5.

Recently Xena peed on a a rug which we got second hand. I assume she did not like a smell on it, so we promptly removed and cleaned, and she has been using the litter box regualrly.

Now,a few days later, she’s acting standoffish and very much like my Mom did when she went through menopause.

She’s moody, reclusive and even picks fights with the other cats, Squee specifically.

She is fixed, and we have ruled out any health problems.

When she is alone, she is friendly, loving and enjoys being petted and brushed, just as she always has.

these cats grew up together. They’ve lived together in the same house for over 5 years.

any suggestions?

While my sister was pregnant she told me that she knew because her "ovaries were swollen" and my mom said that that’s how she knew also…But how exactly can you tell if your ovaries are swollen? I don’t wanna ask them yet because I don’t know for sure if I am pregnant. Help…?

My mom wants to donate her eggs and she had a hysterectomy about 10 years ago. How much will they pay her to donate and would she be able to?

My mom is 69, Dr. wants to take her bladder out, has already removed "larger than I anticipated" tumor. The MD states the bladder had started disintegrating and had involved the ureter as well.

IM SO SCARED! My mom is anemic and she is having a hysterectomy on monday. They found stuff that may be cancerous and she is losing all that except 1 ovary and she is anemic. I’m have never been so scared in my life and i feel like crying. Someone please tell me how risky it is. I would die without my mom. She is only 49.

im only 13 but for a long time i have been having a lot of vaginal iching and there are extra flabs of skin when i scratch it just gets wet my mom and i dont get a long very well so its hard to ask her plus i dont want some strange doctor lookin up my vagina does any one have any help. i also get a lot of discharge and do you think this could just be puberty its been happening for about a year

I am 16 years old and my mom just had a Hysterectomy and is now on the hormone called "Premarin". I have only heard bad things about it and was wondering if anyone has any information on it, whether it is good or bad, please let me know.

I am 15 years old and I have had my period for a little less that two years. I always wear thongs and I hate wearing a pad because it feels gross. And I always stain my underwear and my sheets and sometimes even my pants and I am tired of it.
Plus the school nurse only gives out cardboard tampons.

My mom thinks tampons are unsanitary and dangerous. She thinks because "I’m not responsible enough to keep my room clean, I am not responsible enough to wear a tampon."
She thinks I will die from wearing tampons

I can get them really bad. My thighs hurt, my lower back hurts, just everything hurts basically. Sometimes i’ll even throw up. My mom said warm brewed tea helped her, not me so much, and I’ll sometimes take 3 to 4 ibuprofen but it takes forever for that to start working. What are some other good ways to relieve menstrual cramps? (other than midol and other pills like that)

Hi my name is Beverly, I have my first obgyn examination in a few days and I was wondering what to expect them to do? I don’t know if its a man or woman yet… I hope it’s a woman. I’m 18 and my mom is forcing me to go to it. My boyfriend started getting jealous because I have been with him for two years and I haven’t showed him my down there yet… I promised him that he would be the first to see me down there. So what do they do there? They don’t put anything in you do they? I’m still a virgin, and i don’t want anything inside of me… Please help.
Is there a way for them to not put anything inside of me? I’m against fingers going inside of me at all. It is a gross disgusting thing to do. And I’m pretty sure I would be against whatever metal things they will put in me too.

My Mom says I’m not old enough (16) yet to use tampons and I can only use pads. What does age have to do with it? My friends use tampons.

My Mom suffers from Fibromyalgia and is frequently tired, weak and in pain everyday. She also has trouble with digesting food and often feels discomfort and bloating. Does her food issues have anything to do with her Fibromyalgia? If so/not, what are some tips she could use to ease her pain and boost her energy?
