Hot Flashes…………..?

Can hot flashes be a sign of pregnancy?
I have headaches, backaches, some twinges after ovulation, major mood swings, a little nausea, and super tiredness. My period is due Saturday, what do you think? Also, I almost never get PMS symptoms so I don’t think that’s it. Thanks

I have no idea why, I’m perfectly healthy and very athletic. Could it mean somethings wrong, because I dont have any pains or any mood swings, or cravings…Is that weirdd??
Is it also weird my periods only last 2-3 days

My gynecologist is thinking I may need a hysterectomy involving just the removal of my uterus as I do not have my left ovary or tube. I am thinking why don’t he just take the right ovary and tube while he is in there. I am a 38 yr old woman who has had female organ trouble since menstruals started at age 12. What is the best route to go? I have had somewhat of mood swings when I had the left tube and ovary removed.

I haven’t had a period in several months and I am experiencing hot flashes and mood swings. I’m assuming I am in perimenopause. What will my doctor appointment be like? Will I need a pelvic exam?

So, speaking of female menopause and its conjunction with the (male) midlife crisis…

Why don’t women ever run off with a hot young man – or busty young blonde for all you lesbians out there? Why don’t we buy porsches and get a loft in soho for our new wife (life)? Why don’t we quit our jobs as business executives and/or moms and become professional sky-divers?

Well, I heard from a post-menopausal woman that all her cravings for a) chocolate, b) spas, c) other types of cravings, as well as her power surges, periods of exhaustion, and mood-swings died….

when she hit MENOPAUSE.

As for men, at exactly that time period, the husband or midlife male begins to have cravings, power surges, periods of exhaustion, and mood swings.

In other words, they start their periods.

Why is this?

I’ve started having sleepless night, hot flashes, mood swings, irritabilty, anixety, crying, memory lost. That is why I had the test done to see if I have started early stages of menopause.

I am 45 years old and have been showing mild signs of menopause for a while now. In the last few months my periods are all over the place. Twice a month, skip a month, just never know when it will bless me. The hot flashes and night sweats are just about unbearable now and this comes with mood swings that could scare Satin himself away at times. Cramping, nausea and a cyst in a groin area is a new added blessing also. It comes and goes…..wonderful.
Do any of you women out there that have been blesses with this "natural" process of life have any advice on anything that helps at all. I really don’t want hormones as they are not good for you.
I would love any advice at all outside of my Dr.’s, "lets just wait and see, it is supposed to be this way" attitude.

I had my baby four weeks ago and starting about a week ago my hormones have been insane and I’ve been having horrible mood swings. Everything drives me crazy, one minute I’m happy and the next I’m crying. I don’t feel any bond with my baby at all and I’m just not happy. How do I determine if it’s just simple PMS, or something more serious like postpartum depression?

Pre Menopause?

I hear a lot about Menopause, but not much about, Pre- Menopause.
I am 45 and still get my menstrel, but all the signs of Menopause.. Hot flashes too, aweful mood swings, memory loss a little.
I sure wish someone would make special hair and skin care products for women over, 35 to 50ish.
Including hair coloring products.
Any advice is welcome, tips, ideas, like that..
My hair is baby fine hair, silky texture, and thinning, will it grow back ?
It’s so delicate and thinning, as I said, Help…..
Thanks,"fellow" women..

I heard about Tryptophan but when I did some research, it just doesn’t sound like something I feel safe taking. I have anxiety most of the time & horrible mood swings. I also have G.E.R.D. so I need something that won’t mess with my stomach. Is there anything I can get (not through a doctor) to help with this?

My lower stomach is tender to the touch, I’m gaining weight, increased apetite, mood swings.. Is this PMS or early pregnancy? If more information is required for you to answer, you can email me. Thanks:)

Ive had the menopause for 7 years now, and ive had HRT from my Doctor, which didn’t help. Ive tried natural remedies, but they didn’t work either. My worst symptoms are, hot flushes, mood swings, and the worst being my skin. Im only 53, but my face looks like a 60 yr olds, I have wrinkly dry skin and terrible acne, and my hands are shrivelled. There must be someone who has had success with some over the counter treatment.
Ive heard theres a pill called FX menopause or nutrafx, has anyone tried this and did it help with skin problems.

How can you combat moodiness in pregnancy?

I’m 12 1/2 weeks pregnant and I just seem to be having more and more mood swings as i go along, it’s driving my husband crazy!
