What is the youngest age for menopause?

can a 35 year-old woman be menopausing?

38 years old and Perimenopausal?

I am a 38 year old woman….When i was younger, my periods was from about 6-7 days, but they are regular monthlies like clockwork…since I was about 37, it’s still like clockwork, but the days of having periods are now 3-4 days. I am not complaining….I am just glad to not having them a full week each month anymore. LOL Also, my periods were heavier when I was in my 20s and early 30s….but now, it’s a bit lighter.

I looked up the symptoms about perimenopause on the Internet, and the only ONE I found that I have is the period changes….I don’t have the other symptoms at all.

I do not take any form of birth control at all.

Does this mean I am perimenopausal even though the only symptom is that my periods have changed? Will the other symptoms come later for me? Just wondering.
I have been to a GYN about a year and a half ago and she said I am healthy.

is it menopause?

I am a 34 year old woman who has had 2 c-sections and my tubes tyed and burnt. i have periods every 2 to 3 weeks. i have been experiencing mood swings worse than normal. i am a working wife and mother. my life is stressful. i was recently diagnosed with anxiety attacks. my latest attack included difficulty breathing, uncontrolable body shakes, an out of it feeling, and a hot flash that didn’t go away. that was when i was diagnosed with anxiety attacks. is it possible that menopause is causing these attacks or am i just losing my mind? what are some symptoms of menopause. docs keeping telling me i’m too young for menopause but i don’t believe them. anyone else with anything like this please give me input or any docs please answer my question. only serious answers please. thanks
i was diagnosed last week but they put me on atenolol because i have high blood pressure also. this is supposed to lower my blood pressure, heart rate and adrenalin but i was higher than a kite all day the next day from it so i didn’t take anymore. i’m supposed to go back to the doctor thursday. hopefully they can give me something different to help me. my blood pressure isn’t extremely high anyway just a little bit.

symptoms of cervical cancer?

What are some specific symptoms of cervical cancer in a 50 year old woman who has not gone through perimenopause/

I am a 44 yr old woman of African descent. About 6 months ago I cut my waist-long, all-natural, 21 yr old dreadlocks. I was surprised to find the texture of my hair completely changed. Before it was VERY thick, coarse, and nappy (I don’t consider "nappy" a pejorative term, as "nap" actually refers to the texture of a rich, heavy fabric like velvet). But after being cut it was very soft and curly. I thought maybe it was a temporary thing, but 6 months later it’s still the same. I cut my dreads because my hair was thinning due to medications, & they were all about to break off anyway. My question- have any other POC experienced a dramatic change in hair texture like this? Is this something that sometimes happens with the natural aging process? with perimenopause? Or are the meds to blame (interferon & ribavirin)? I don’t think it’s due to the long time wearing dreadlocks because I’ve noticed a similar change in my body hair. It’s a mystery!

55 year old woman, stopped menstruating 4 years ago. Less active sex life, but after having sex is it normal to spot a little blood?

It has been 4 days just laying on the couch, very clammy, heat flashes, red burning itchy eyes, loss of appetite, tired. I am a 41 year old woman.

I am a 58 year old woman who has had to have an emergency hysterectomy because of endometrial cancer. They got it all and I am going to be okay. Now the night sweats are even worse than before the surgery. I wake up 3 to 4 times a night having to change my clothes. In the morning I wake up exhausted for lack of sleep. I have tried progesterone cream, black cohash, dong qui, vitamin E and most products out there. Progesterone cream does help some. I do try and stay away from caffeine and spicy foods. Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated. My doctor will not put me on any drugs or HRT because of the cancer. The doctor tells me to go the natural route and I am trying, but need some suggestions.

I had a hysterectomy many years ago and am now wondering, without this indication of the onset of menopause, how else do you tell if as a 51 year old woman when I am experiencing menopause?
