Im a man looking to get some advice about feminization through hormones. Im embarassed to speak to my doctor & would be grateful if anyone knows where I can get some independent counsel or advice.

Im really looking for someone who perhaps can advise me & who I can talk to as I dont feel I can approach my doctor.

Also, do you know how safe spironolactone is with estraderm(estradiol) patches. After researching they seem safe options though again, I would prefer to be monitored safely by a medical practioner.

I have looked on line and overseas I can’t find any and the quanity I could bring across the border (Mexico) won’t last very long at all. i need a reliable source of the patches.

Hi everyone, perhaps you could help me out.

On Dec 9, I went out and had a little too much to drink. I only slept for 2 hours that night.
The next day I felt fine with a mild headache. That evening things took a turn for the worse: chills and aches. Never took my temperature but I can only assume it was fever.
The next two days I felt under the weather, but better. Headache was still present, no appetite, nightsweats continued.

For the next four days I felt completely fine. All was well.

I then faced 2-3 days of constipation. It ceased after taking laxatives.

I was then fine for 3 days until I noticed a gland swelling under my chin. 2 days later my throat was sore and all my glands had swelled. This persisted for 4 days, and the throat pain was quite extreme. There were also white patches on my tonsils. However, the patches, pain and swelling stopped.

I then noticed some small bumps under my tongue and a sore on the end of it. There were numerous red bumps on the back of my throat and sores eventually developed on the hard palate a few days later. These oral symptoms are currently all present.

It seems like I get something, recover, and then get something else. Does anybody know what could be wrong? Or am I just a major hypochondriac?

im going nuts at age 54, Im scared of blood clots/ Strokes, should i be? are estogen patches safe? iworry to much i know, going nuts with hot Flashes/ Mood swings/ night sweats/ The whole bit/ & crying spells to, Need help, Advice & ideas.

Had a hysterectomy 10 years ago but my ovaries were left in. I am now experiencing hot flashes and night sweats and I have been given conflicting information as to what kind of hormone therapy I would go on. I have been told that estrogen is the only thing I need. Also, are patches, gels, and or creams just as good as taking a pill because I have read that if you have high triglycerides avoid a pill if possible so it doesn’t have to process through your liver. Any help would be wonderful. I am now taking estroven and extra soy, but not sure this will be enough.

Does anyone know a real way to help with surgical menopause

I ran out of my hormon patches and while I hear you should take them I am getting bad hotflashes but dont feel as tired as i did while i had my patches. But with or without the patch I am feeling mood swings, loss of concentration, sleeping problems, depression. I was never like this before my surgery.

I take vitamin E
I take coral calcium
I take vitamin b 12

what else should I do

I am 28 and sometimes feel so hot inside my chest going all the way up through my neck and feel the need to be free of my top! My mother says it’s hot flashes. I also get red blotchy-looking patches (not raised) whenever I do any of the following:
Eat spicy food
Go from a warm temperature outside into a cool, air-conditioned building
Get nervous or stressed

What is causing this….any ideas on what this might be?
