I’m 31, have PCOS and don’t have kids.

I took Yasmin for 3 years 18-21 and have now been off of it for 1 full year. I have horrible acne, increased facial hair growth, and weight gain. I have been tested for PCOS….doc says I don’t have it. But acne is not something that runs in my family. Did anyone else have this problem? What are opinions on Yasmin 28 and BC in general? What herbs can I take to make my hormones balance themselves out. How do they work?

I want a baby but my irregular periods make me want to have a hysterectomy. I have PCOS which makes me bleed for 1-2 months at a time. I am on birth control and have been for 4 months and it hasn’t regulated my periods it just made them lighter. I want more than anything to have a baby but how can I even attempt to if I won’t stop bleeding. This is stressful and pain full! Is a hysterectomy right for me? Is it a smart choice?

I am trying to get pregnant with PCOS. I am on Metformin 500 mg daily, and progesteone cream. Will these medicaitions help with ovulation?? I know progesterone will help maintain a pregnancy but thats not my problem yet, I cannot get pregnant after 8 years. I thought this may be a glimmer of hope. I have taken clomid but it hyperstimulated my ovaries and my doc said that I didn’t need clomid.

I got off the pill a few months ago and would like to use progesterone cream to help with my pcos. However, I did not get my period this month. I need to have a period so that I know when to start using it. My periods are very irregular and I have been known to skip months. (No I’m not pregnant, I checked ). So, if I don’t get my period…when should I start using the cream? Should I just wait till next month when I get one? I would like to start the ball rolling so that I can start having regular periods. I hate not knowing when it’s gonna show up! Thanks!

Has anyone with PCOS been on any type of hormone therapy and did it help you get pregnant? I took PCOS and it did nothing for me. Well I only took it for 1 month and it did NOTHING for me. Not even a slight change, well it did take off 3 pounds and then it was like at a standstill.

i recently had a miscarriage diagnosed with PCOS and i did’nt have my period for two months so my doctor is giving me Provera to start my period. After taking this medicine will it help me become more fertile?

My initial questions: Does progesterone delay ovulation? My doctor is dating my pregnancy back a week from where it should be. I had US at 6 weeks. He said I was 5 Weeks. Of course at 5 weeks seeing nothing besides a sac is typical. But not so much at 6 weeks.
I had my HCG drawn and the results came back 2942 and 47 hours later it was 5482 which is an 86% increase with a 52 hour doubling time. Doc said this is right on track for 5 weeks.
I guess my concern is I have 2 miscarriages behind me. One was a blighted ovum, and seeing nothing when every internet site in the world says I am 6 weeks kinda freaked me out.
Any Advice or input would be greatly appreciated!

My doctor put me on progesterone for PCOS. Within a week I had my first period in 3 months.
In that next cycle I concieved. Everything I have read on the internet says you cannot take progesterone cream during the first part of your cycle as you cannot get pregnant.

pcos and bioidentical progesterone cream?
My doctor has sent me to a compounding pharmacy, and they made me a bioidentical progesterone cream to use. (natural, Yam) The directions say to use 0.2ml on days 1-14 and 1.0ml on days 15-30. Everything i read online seems to say not to use it everyday, so i am confused.
Apparently i am estrogen dominant with high testosterone levels and low progesterone levels. I am a 29 yr old female…and not doing this for fertility, just for hormonal blance. And thought?

I’m 26 years old and I’ve been experiencing symptoms of postmenopause, it turns out, because my estradiol is 11. I’ve been on Ortho-Cyclen for eight years but my doctor thinks I need to switch to Yaz to balance my hormones. The estradiol was the only thing to come out abnormal; testosterone, FSH, and LH were all in the normal range. I’m concerned I might have something more seriously wrong…PCOS seems unlikely since my FSH is ok and in 3 months I’ve gone from 146 lbs. to 127 lbs (height is 5’5"). I can’t wrap my head around what could possibly be wrong. Please give me your suggestions.

I have recently had a 21 day blood test. My progesterone levels came back as 1. My doctor has booked me for scans which i am going for on thursday but i’ve had one before and things seemed fine. I have not fell pregnant in 2 years. Does anyone have any idea what the problem may be other than PCOS and if this is esily treatable? Its ripping me to peices and really affecting me that i might never have children.

I am looking to learn how and when to use it. I have heard it can work great for women with PCOS. It is from a company called women to women and when I was on their website they had great info, so I ordered and everything that came was addressed to women going through "the change." I was hope someone has used it or know someone who has.

I’ve had major gynecological problems and surgeries in the past and now I am with disabling pain. I had to quit my job and stay home with my 2 yr old that I can’t take care of well by myself. I’m 34 and my sister died at 36 of breast cancer. I haven’t been able to do my yearly MRI on breasts because of the 1800 dollar copays, etc.. ( that’s another monster) but I’ve had precancerous cells removed in my cervix, ovarian teratoma surgey, oavry removed from lg cyst and torsion, now I have recurring large complex cysts with ovulation, they diagnosed me with adenomyosis, ovarian cyst, myomata, endo and I’ve suffered from pcos since I was 15!!!! So basically I’m trying to find someoen that would do further cancer testing since the one saw last wanted to prescribe antidepressants!! Bastard. Pls help. I am contantly with heating pad and taking codons for 4 months straight already and er visits every month with u/s reveaing that big ol cyst plus others. Thank you.

Could PCOS be diagnosised as the cause of excessive hormones despite the surgery?
