My periods are already heavy. Now for the past few months I have been spotting for a day or two at mid-cycle. I am not on the pill or anything and I am 27 years old.

My cousin had sex about 10 times and she said it hurts really bad. These are her symptoms she told me:
longer periods, chronic stomach pains, bleeding of anus after bowel movement, frequent constipation, increases amount of hair growth (on face too), foul-smelling discharge, and lumps and bumps (almost like boils) near vagina!!! Pretty scary…she has a doctors appt. soon.

I’ve had a Mirena IUD for over three years. I know it is common for your periods to stop after a few months.
I still had periods with Mirena for over a year, but then they got a little irregular and light and finaly stopped. I’ve also noticed other menopause-like symptoms, such as hot flashes, low libido, etc.

I’ve googled the Mirena/Menopause connection, but haven’t found any credible information.

I started the Nuva Ring in September. Since then, my moods during my periods have gotten out of control. I have never been the kind of person to have severe period symptoms, but now, it’s ridiculous and it seems to get worse every month!

Help!

Does anyone else have this problem? Can anyone suggest another form of birth control that is super easy and doesn’t cause side effects?

I have been on the injection for the past 5 months, and i had the worst day of my life on wednesday i heard some bad news a few hours later; i was on my periods and it was very heavy i was changing a pad every 3 hours, i now have hectic headaches i am very weak and i have terible lower abdominal pains.

I have no idea why, I’m perfectly healthy and very athletic. Could it mean somethings wrong, because I dont have any pains or any mood swings, or cravings…Is that weirdd??
Is it also weird my periods only last 2-3 days

i have been trying for a baby for 8 months and my periods are ALWAYS on time, i am now 6 days late for my period and really do feel pregnant, i dont have sore boobs but i am feeling very sick and really tired all of a sudden! i have taken 6 home pregnancy tests so far and all have come back negative! i have been taking them since 4 days before my period was due and took the last one last night! i am thinking about going to a family planning clinic to see if their test will show i’m pregnant but am worried that if it’s a urine test it wont pick it up! does anyone know if their tests are any better than home tests? also is discharge a sign of pregnancy? i have been having some white discharge lately, it doesn’t smell but thought it might be connected to pregnancy? any help would be much appreciated! thanks

My libido was very high when I was in my mid 30′s. I wanted to have sex every day and I was constantly thinking about sex. My husband used to say I’m a sex addict. I suddenly lost my sex drive since I turned 40 a few months ago, I don’t enjoy sex and I don’t want to have sex anymore. I’m healthy and fit and my periods are regular. Is it normal to lose your sex drive when your 40? Or am I bored with my husband and sex life?

Im 14 and I am going to the gynecologist for the first time. I am going because I skipped a period, and am going on the pill for the periods to be more regular. I am a little nervous though, because I’m not sure what a pap smear is. Is it painful? Do I have to take any shots, or anything like this? What are the procedures at the gynecologist?

Ive Only Been on the pill for a month now and its the 7 day no pill section, but im having a really heavy period with large clots , but isn’t the pill meant to fix this? Could Someone please put my mind at rest or tell me hat to do because its really scaring m, as my periods were normal efore going on the pill.

My specialist wants to try me on it because Im TTC and since i never have periods, we need to know my cycle.

I was told by my doctor i have ovarian cyst, a i get my period every month, but i told my doctor i want birth control becuse my cramp and long and heavy period, it is uncomfortable periods. i want to know how long i should try birth contro?, that i believe will help with my cyst. painful intercourse but only in certain positions. not all the time just every now and then. i do have cyst on my ovaries , could that be the reason? i have normal periods. normal pap smears. what can be the cause

is it possible for men to suffer menopause as do women? Don’t laugh I serious,I have heard men can,,I have been having periods of becoming hot(temperature wise),also seem to be irritable at times,moody,,I am mid 50′s,white male,not over weight,divorced,no kids,employed,no money problems,just a crappy job,,,any thoughts??

I am on family planning injections for a year now and my periods have been okay, but last month i was given a different injection for 3 months because the one i used to take there was a shortage. The problem is i have not had my periods from last month up to day though i feel like periods pains but nothing… is it possible that i can be pregnant or thats how injections do sometimes… and is it ok to feel nausea sometimes?please help.
