I am planning on taking 6 weeks short term disability through my work for my pregnancy and I want to take the last six weeks on FMLA leave. What is the process for taking FMLA leave? Do I need to fill out some sort of application for that or what?? And do I have to have medical certification for pregnancy on FMLA leave?

When her hips separate, how many weeks/days are left of her pregnancy? We got a pregnant piggie from a store and I can’t find much about it online. She’s about five months old.
I’m not talking about when the bones are as wide as they’ll get. How far into the pregnancy will they just begin to separate?

My husband and I had a daughter in February after 2 years of fertility treatments. We would like to start trying for a second baby in a few months and were wondering if we should try on our own for a while or if we should just not waste our time and head back to the fertility clinic. I have a condition where it is unlikely to get pregnant on our own. My last pregnancy was the result of a combination of injections and clomid.

I am on Family Planning Medicaid and I just found out that I am pregnant and my daughter is on full medicaid. Will my medicaid automatically swap over to pregnancy medicaid or do I have to reapply? Just wondering, I have my appointment on the 22nd and I want to know what to expect. Please only answer if you have experience with this or some knowledge about it. I am not looking for advice, just solid information. Thank you!

I want someone who has actually gone through this to answer. If you have had fibroids and had a successful pregnancy and healthy baby or if your are having trouble getting pregnant. I’ve just discovered that I have 3 fibroids in my uterine walls and one outside the uterus. I don’t want to miss out on having my own babies and I’m scared that this may ruin my chances of ever experiencing that. So your answers are very much appreciated .

I was just curious, if a pregnancy goes undetected and you are given progesterone to induce your period, what would happen if you ARE pregnant? Also, what would you expect to see if you are not pregnant and still do not see a period?

Doing a project on birth controls, their effectiveness and effects on the body and no where can seem to really give me a specific answer.
How do birth control pills effect a woman’s body? How long until the effects start to take place?
What are the percentages of a condom and a birth control pill not working at preventing a pregnancy?
What is the safest form of birth control (I know someone is going to say "not having sex, bwahaha" so please don’t) and what is the most effective?
Thanks so much!

Should they ban PMU Farms and cut off the production of Premarin?
I am doing a paper on the menopause drug called Premarin and it is from a pregnant mares urine. The mare can’t hardly move and she has to stand for a long time during the last six months of her pregnancy. She stays in the stall until she gives birth and the foal will be shipped off to auction and normally go to the slaughter house.

I’m 8 weeks pregnant (I think) and had a pap smear this morning at my exam. I’ve been experiencing some light spotting since the pap smear which has been spread throughout the day. I never spotted after a pap smear during my previous pregnancy, but I know it’s normal. I’m just unsure exactly how long the "normal" spotting should last. Should I call the doctor if it lasts for a few days, or is that a normal length of time?
Thanks a bunch!

has anybody had multiple miscarriages and then used a progesterone cream and was able to carry to term?
has anybody here used progesterone cream at all during pregnancy, whether you had previous miscarriages or not?
i heard that if you have low levels of progesterone, it can cause miscarriages, and that using a over-the-counter progesterone cream can help. just want to get more information.
if you have, where did you apply it on your body? did you have any negative side affects?

There is managed obstetrics and midwifery obstetrics. A doctor or midwife can do either one. Managed obstetrics treats pregnancy like a medical problem. Midwifery obstetrics treats pregnancy like a normal process.
I went to a male doctor with my first three pregnancies. He practiced midwifery obstetrics.

I have issues with people I don’t trust touching me. It takes a lot for me to be willing to go to the doctor and even just calling to make an appointment makes me sick to my stomach. The touching thing has been this way for 20 years so it’s not something I haven’t already saw a doctor and it took me having being pregnant with my son to get to the point I’m at now. (btw my son is 3 so I doubt pregnancy is related to this)
I’ve had my period for 2 months now it’s getting heavier and I know that I do need to go to the doctor because something has to be wrong. I know that you can’t go for normal female doctor visits if it is that time of the month because they can’t do an exam. Does the same thing apply for cases like mine when it has gone on for a long time? If not then what do they do? I’m pretty sure I have PCOS because of other things that are going on with me fit the symptoms and I want to try birth control pills to see if they help. Is there any way that I could get them without them doing an exam?
