My husband and I have been TTC for over 6months. I’ve been using clomid this cycle and took my Ovidrel shot on Friday (02/12). Got my progesterone levels back today and they were only at 7 but I did ovulate. My doctor decided he wanted me to start progesterone suppositories. I’m a little nervous, and they came with NO instructions. Does anyone know what I should expect? Are the side effects really bad? Any advise is appreciated. Thanks!

What can I do to boost my progesterone levels?

I have not been ovulating and my doc checks my progesterone levels. I am getting ready to start my third try at clomid taking 200mg/day. Last cycle I took 150mg/day and when we checked my progesterone levels they were only a 1.4. I am really worried that I will never ovulate. Does anyone have any advice.

I have recently had a 21 day blood test. My progesterone levels came back as 1. My doctor has booked me for scans which i am going for on thursday but i’ve had one before and things seemed fine. I have not fell pregnant in 2 years. Does anyone have any idea what the problem may be other than PCOS and if this is esily treatable? Its ripping me to peices and really affecting me that i might never have children.

how much progesterone cream should I use in the first weeks of conception, if I conceived at all, to assure progesterone levels are increasing appropriately until testing for pregnancy and seeing the doctor

I was wondering if anyone knows what are good progesterone and estrogen levels for 1 week after ovulation. I just had an IVF procedure ended early due to lack of response to the drugs. There were three good follicles, so we did the HCG shot and tried on our own. I just had my one week after ovulation blood work done today and they said my estrogen levels were 400 and my progesterone levels were 22.5. Does anyone know if these numbers are a good sign that I might be pregnant? Only serious answers please!

Progesterone deficiency and stress.?

My wife is 40 years old and woke up with nightsweats two nights in a row. She was already suffering from back spasms and then woke up with numbness in her hands. At the hospital it was found that she was severley potassium deficient which was causing the back spasms and caused a pinched nerve. This explained the numbness in her hands. It was also found that her progesterone levels were completely depleted. She has started hormone therapy and dietary supplements for the potassium. The question is whether daily stress causes the decreased hormone levels, or is it more likely that this could be some pre-menopausal decrease that made her more suceptable to the day to day effects of stress.

Progesterone cream for boosting estrogen levels?

I just had blood tests done to test my hormone levels and my estrogen levels are extremely low. Also, my progesterone levels, FSH and LH levels are all low. Someone recommended a progesterone cream. My question is, how does a progesterone cream boost estrogen levels, as well as everything else if it’s just progesterone? I don’t understand how it works.
