I have secondary amenorrhea, most likely due to my mild eating disorder. I am 21, my OBGYN prescribed me provera 10 mg that I am to take every day for 10 days every 4-5 months. So I don’t take it that often so I’m hoping some of the gross side effects like weight gain, acne and depression won’t be prominent or even present.

I’ve been on depo provera for a while now but now I really want to get pregnant? So does anyone know any trick or anything about how to get pregnant?

My doctor said I dont produce enough estrogen so she started me on provera oral contraceptives to regulate my period.Im on a diet so is it possible that my breast would grow,but I wont gain weight in the other part of my body?

I had my first injection of the Depo Provera on the 11 of April and my period was due on the 4th of May but hasn’t come. Doing some research, I understand that it is normal for your periods to stop but most people say after the second injection not the first..? Please help.

My husband and I have been TTC for over a year now. I was recently diagnosed w/ PCOS by a fertility specialist, even though I don’t look like the typical person. My periods have always been irregular and I’ve only had 2 periods over the past year. I finished my round of Provera 3 days ago and have not started my period. How long does it usually take? I’ve seen a variety of answers and even some people saying that it didn’t induce a period.

She has now tried getting pregnant for the last three years and she cant get pregnant. Could the effect of depo-provera still in her system? Can depo provera cause infertility? What is your experience if you have any? She is really worried now, while she really wants a baby. She already has one baby who is 8 years old.

I am ttc but haven’t gotten my period since April 2010. I was diagnosed with PCOS and was prescribed provera to induce a period and then I was told to take Chlomid cd 5-9. I never got my period after finishing the provera but about a week after, my nipples have become extremely sore and my breast have become swollen. Is there a chance that I might have ovulated while on Provera and got pregnant?

I just got my first Depo Provera in January and now its the last day of Feburary and I havnt gotten a period, no spotting or any blood. Is this normal? Or a sign of pregnancy?

If your on your period and your due for your depo-provera shot, will it stop the bleeding or would it make you bleed more?

Getting pregnant after Depo-Provera?
I have a three year-old son, and I have been using depo-provera every 3 months for the last three years (no spotting or period while using depo). My fiance and I have decided we want another baby, and I was wondering about your experiences… From what I’ve gathered, it will at least be a year before my period will return.

I took Provera on the 1st of June for seven days and started Clomid on the 3rd day of my bleeding, which was on the 11th, for 5 days, and I ovulated on the 21st of June. We had intercourse the week before I ovulated and a couple of days after ovulation. My question is, when should I do a home pregnancy test?

I haven’t had a period in 3 years, 2 years on Depo-provera and 1 year off, so my obgyn prescribed 5 pills of Progesterone to jump start it back. My last pill was Saturday, it’s been a week now and it still hasn’t started. Is this normal, or should it have started by now? I really want to have a baby, but she told me this was the only way to start it back…I’d also like any suggestions you have?
