Anyone used Progesterone Cream or soft cups?

I’m looking to try new ideas for TTC. I’ve been trying naturally without a doctor for about 14 months now. i tried Evening Primrose oil to increase cervical mucus but It made my cycle a bit longer so I stopped that. i’m not sure what’s causing my inability to get pregnant but I’m thinking that progesterone may help if I’m estrogen dominant because I get really bad PMS. So i will like to hear from those who have used Progesterone Cream. And I heard about soft cups but would like to hear from those who’s had success using it. Any other ideas would be appreciated, Thanks in advance!

I am TTC and the queen of peeing on a test way too early (I am impatient). This just happens to be around the time of my regular annual gynecological exam (today). It is still too early to test and I have finally come to accept that, but when my OBGYN does my exam, will he be able to tell if I am pregnant yet? Also, will any of his tests (the general pelvic and pap) hurt the baby if I am?

I recently went to my gyno after TTC for 6 months with my husband. I’m 28 yrs old and my cycles have always been long and irregular (approx. 45 days between). I went to the gyno for the first time for a pap smear and I told her this. Basically without asking me any case history at all… her solution was for a sperm count and blood test which is fine. Then she said quickly in a jumble of words that I wasn’t ovulating and my luteal phase was all wrong and that immediately after my next period were doing an HSG test and starting on Femera. She didn’t talk about the risks and made me feel very uncomfortable since I don’t take prescription drugs or therapies lightly and like to usually take the more natural route unless completely necessary. It’s only been 4 cycles of period since we started trying! I was not on BC before trying so she wasn’t waiting for hormones to balance out or anything. Many women in my family have had very irregular cycles and have gotten pregnant fine. Should I suck it up and trust my doc and go with the hsg and femera or keep trying naturally for a little longer? I’m not sure how much of a big deal doing the femera route is.
Also she said she didn’t think I was ovulating which is weird because she is basing that just off the fact that my cycle is long and no other information. Plus I think I have felt myself ovulating before.

I have always had a problem with heavy periods. Infact, I was once put on birth controll so they wouldn’t be quite so heavy. I can’t do that now, though because hubby and I sort of TTC. I’m miserable, though. I know this is TMI but, for the first few days of my period it is VERY heavy. For example, I will wear a pad(Stayfree ultra thin overnight) and tampon(OB Heavy Days- a step above super plus) both for security but, I usually have to change the tampon every couple hours because of major leakage. I get nervous at night because I have had "accidents" before due to "leakage". Of course, I’ve learned to controll that now somewhat by, getting up every so often to change hygenic products. This sucks, though because it means waayyy less sleep. :( I just wish I could figure out a way to controll my heavy periods because I am so miserable and bloated feeling because of this. HELP!
I do not wish to go any kind of birth controll since hubby and are are sorta trying to have a baby.
Also, I am 26.

Here’s a little background aboutme….

I am ttc but haven’t gotten my period since April 2010. I was diagnosed with PCOS and was prescribed provera to induce a period and then I was told to take Chlomid cd 5-9. I never got my period after finishing the provera but about a week after, my nipples have become extremely sore and my breast have become swollen. Is there a chance that I might have ovulated while on Provera and got pregnant?

Does anyone knw about Progesterone Cream ?

I have a low level of progesterone and have been TTC for almost two yrs. I recently found out about my low level. Everything else is fine, its just my progesterone that is preventing pregnancy. I’m 23 if that matters and I have a regular every 28 day cycle that only lasts for 4 days. I just want to know will progesterone cream help me in my journey of TTC with my hubby and have u or anyone u know had a successful pregnancy with low levels?… Thanks to ALL

very unsusal for my period to be this early. in 33 years my period has always been on a 28 day cycle. feeling nauseous at the smell and taste of certain foods craving others especially carbs and sweets, burping more than i can recall. breast slightly sore and tender to touch. last period 2 days pale pink, 2 days light red in colour and flow 1 day light brown when wiping, then nothing. periods always 7 days long medium to heavy flow. ttc conceive but also now are aware this could be perimenopause. none of the women on either side of family peri/menopause before 50, so partner and i really are hoping that the baby mambo is working. we each have children of our own from previous relationships and would really want children together. please continue to sprinkle Baby Dust our way as we continue our dance . please refer to previous post today ‘i’m 44 and trying to conceive….thnx for the help. peace and blessing to all ttc.

Anyone have tips on taking progesterone shots?

I am taking progesterone shots beginning tomorrow as a step in TTC. Has anyone taken these? I have never given myself a shot! Any tips? I am slightly frightened at the whole idea so my husband will be giving them to me.
Yes it is the Oil form of progesterone. And i am still scared… maybe because my husband will be giving it to me LOL

P.S. I do trust him!

Well I am now 4 days late, and I am never late. I have taken 4 different hpt with fmu and all negative.I know that my dates are accurate as I keep them on my calender. We bd twice during the time I thought I was ovulating ( I tried to take this month off of monitoring everything to see if not stressing would help ttc) but I always get ovulatory pains, and those are what led me to believe my ovulation date. My fear is that after 8 months of ttc, having one mc, what if this missed period isn’t pregnancy and its perimenopause?? I am scared to death and it makes me very sad…
I am 33 years old. With my mc in january, i tested positive the first day that I missed.
