Ahh, marcus the special forces medic and Alternative medicine guy. My friends wife is like that. She takes pills & drinks a mineral mixture containing Potassium, calcium, Magnesium and trace minerals. Stops her cramps once her body "get’s itself back to normal."

Get her to the Dr…severe cramps are not good at any age and if she’s suffering with menopause, then she needs help with that too.
Menopause does not cause cramps. Did you mean she has her period and has cramps? You need to clarify your question.
Cramps and menopause do not go together. If she has severe cramps she may have a medical condition and needs to see a doctor.

A hot pad always worked or help ease my cramps. Rubbing her back where the cramps are will help some.
Have her eat banana’s and take tums. I swear it works. Potassium prevents your body from cramping and the extra calcium helps control cramps as well. She can eat banana’s or she can take a potassium supplement if she’s not a fan of bananas. Promise it works!
The best thing to do at home, now… is for her to get in the warmest bath water she can get in. This will ease the pain. And for the menopause? She may need hormone replacement. Hope this helps.
The old water bottle or a warm heat pad applied to the abdomen or lower back. A warm bath might help. Or a pain killer like advil or I can’t think of the name of it but there is something specifically for women with PMS that might help.
Depending on how severe the cramps are they could be an indicator of a more serious problem than menopause, you may want to seek medical advise.
If they are severe, and not responding to Advil or ibuprofen, i would suggest seeing a doctor as this could be a hemmorage or some other sort of complication of menopause. If she just has a case of bad cramps, have her take a nice hot bath, then have her settle down with a heating bad and maybe watch a movie with her. Also avoid caffeine because this can make cramps worse, drink water instead.
