What side effects should I expect while taking Provera for 5 days?

My periods are very abnormal. Abnormal like I bleed for 25-30 days every 2-3 months. My doctor put me on Provera for 5 days to start a period so that they can run tests on my ovaries. What type of side effects should I expect? I have not started taking them yet. Waiting on the doctor’s go ahead.
