I have taken Provera for more than 6 months and my cycle always starts about 3 to 5 days after taking my last pill. Please do not worry if your cycle has not yet started. Provera causes a rise in your hormones (Progesterone) and the drop (when you stop the medication) is what will cause your cycle to start. Best wishes to you!
It took me awhile to start my period after taking Provera. I called my doctor and she said if I didn’t by day 14 after the last dose they would try some other kind of hormones with it. Luckily I stated on day 13. Good luck!!
I started mine on the 10th day of taking the last 10th pill. But usually it would take me about 10 days after the last pill. So, just be patient. Good luck!
For me it’s 4 days after the last pill, but I’ve known others where it took up to 2 weeks. Hang in there.
i have had to take progesterone pills for about 5 months to make me start my period and evrytime i start about 2-3 days after my last pill. this month i got a shot of progesterone instead of the pills (which by the way hurt like hell!!! i couldnt walk for about 3 days!!!) but i started my period about 5 days later. it definetly cuts the wait time in half and hopefully it was worth the pain when i get my BFP this month! fingures crossed! good luck to you
